(1) Give at least 3 Eastern Philosophers with their philosophy

1.Confucius
A Chinese philosopher, politician and teacher whose messaged of knowledge, benevolence,
loyalty and virtue. He believed that people and the society they live in benefit from a lifetime of
learning and a moral outlook. It focused on creating ethical models of family and public
interaction and setting educational standards.

2. Siddhartha Gautama
Better known as Buddha, he expressed his philosophy when he said “I teach only two things,
O disciples, the nature of suffering and the cessation of suffering”. The Buddha taught the
famous “Four Noble Truths” and “Eightfold Path,” which allows people to achieve
enlightenment.

3.Sun Tzu
Traditionally credited as the author of the Art of War. He advocates that the best way to
achieve peace is by a swift victory or, even better, by defeating the enemy before war is even
begun. He writes: "To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme
excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting".

(2) Differentiate Eastern and Western Philosophy in your own understanding and give
example.
Eastern Philosophy is being loyalty to their believing and using their power and knowledge to
their philosophy or what they believe. Its like something that include the others in your
perspective in life, its not just about yourself but in others too. Its like the others giving you a
motivation to achieve this goals like that. In the Western Philosophy, in their perspective is
through our self, our own choices and thoughts. Using Critical Thinking. Like your just examine
yourself through the mirror, knowing yourself deeper, something like that.
