Dear Dr. Mihai Marinescu,

I am writing to you as Managing Editor  of Environmental Engineering and Management

Journal, edited by theDepartment of Environmental Engineering and Management under the
aegis of the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi since 2002. Our journal is published
monthly, in 12 issues. In 2007, it was included in Science Citation Index Expanded and Web of
Science. Also, the journal is covered by SJR, SCOPUS as well as other international databases
(http://omicron.ch.tuiasi.ro/EEMJ/).
Journal Citation Reports published the impact factors of Environmental Engineering and
Management Journal since 2009. The Impact factor for 2014, published by JCR in 2015 is 1.065.
As an author of papers in the field, I’d like to ask you to evaluate a paper sent for publication in our
journal. We would be very grateful if you will find some time to evaluate the paper in one month, if
possible.
Please find attached the abstract, the evaluation form and the Instructions for authors. Any
notification on plagiarism tentative is very valuable.
If you will agree to evaluate the paper, please let me know and I’ll send you immediately the full
paper (at this moment we don’t have an electronic system). However, you are free to
recommend/forward it to any of your friend or colleague if the attached manuscript is not in your
field of interest.
