Task 2

The easiest way possible in identifying a test statistics is through knowing its SAMPLE SIZE.

In this way it is much easier to identify whether it is a t-test or z-test. To know if the test statistic use is a
z-test, the sample size should be greater than 30 (>30)

Act 8

Connect

- The ideas presented are now connected to what I already know, it sums up all the ideas that
I learned in this topic.

Extend

- There are a lot of ideas presented that adds up to my learning or extended my learning, one
of the ideas are those test statistics the t-test and z-test. On top of that I have learned how
to compute and test hypothesis.

Challenge

- As of the moment, there are no questions that I have in mind,

1. When the sample size is large enough we will use the z-test for the reason that it is best used
when the sample size is greater than 30.
2. For me, the most challenging is the computing of z-value but as I encounter the procedure quite
some time I have manage to understand it slowly.
3. In using t-test, the easiest way to determine it is to know if it is less than the sample size of 30.
4. Creating a hypothesis testing gives clearer possibilities/probabilities in making solutions to the
problems.
5. Statistics is a huge help in our everyday lives, in fact it is very useful in gathering, collecting,
analyzing data in real-life problems.
