Fix 색le download errors in Google Chrome


If you get an error message on Chrome when you try to download apps, themes, extensions, or other 색les, try these 색xes.

Fix most 색le download errors


If you try to download a 색le and it doesn’t work, 색rst try to 색x the error with these troubleshooting steps:

1. Make sure your Internet connection is working normally. If your Internet connection is unstable, learn how to 색x Internet stability issues .
• Chrome will automatically resume the download. You can also resume the 색le download by clicking the Down arrow    Resume.

2. Try to download the 색le later.


3. Contact the website owner.

Get help with a speci색c error message

"Network failed"

"Download blocked"

"No 색le"

"Virus scan failed" or "Virus detected"

These errors mean that your virus scanning software might have blocked you from downloading a 색le.

• Check your virus-scanning software for details about why the 색le was blocked.
• On Windows: Windows Attachment Manager  might have removed the 색le you tried to download. To see what 색les you can download or why your 색le was
blocked, check your Windows Internet security settings.

"Disk full"

"Insuf색cient permissions" or "System busy"
