Introduction:
An internship is an organized work experience opportunity for students or anyone seeking work experience.
It is a period of work experience provided by an employer to expose students and graduates to the working
environment, usually within a specific industry related to their topic of study. It's a structured, hands-on
learning experience outside of the classroom in which students develop their skills, gain experience working
on advanced productions, apply classroom learning to professional settings or projects, and gain direct
experience of how professional companies or organizations operate.
Internships are offered by businesses to train prospective employees. Internships are frequently viewed by
employers as a period of transition for new employees. An internship provides students with the opportunity
to expand their skill set while also presenting themselves as a worthy candidate for paid employment within
the firm. According to the period's requirements, a student becomes affiliated to the organization and is
required to work as an intern there before presenting a report detailing all of the job procedures completed
and experienced.
Organization Selection:
My main area of interest is digital marketing, so I started looking for internship possibilities in that field.
As an intern, I wanted to work for a company that valued my efforts. Short listing of organizations was
done and approached out to get the best attractive offer and environment. Finally, the SG Gurukul was
chosen as the destination, and I was chosen via an interview. Sg Gurukul was an excellent pick because it
provided a great learning atmosphere with kind co-workers.

Activities Performed:
During my internship, I learned about the organization's working culture and was able to use my theoretical
knowledge in a practical setting. The company's working environment had been very pleasant. It was an
opportunity to gain experience in a professional setting. This improved my ability to develop my teamwork
skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Apart from this, the internship activities helped to put the theoretical knowledge into the practice. It
provided a thorough understanding of real-world scenarios and problems, as well as strategies for dealing
with them. Learning to use various tools and approaches has helped progress during the internship period
and has helped career growth in the respective sector.

Brief introduction of the industry:
Digital marketing refers to the promotion of products or services through the use of digital technologies such
as the Internet, mobile phone apps, display advertising, and other digital channels. Digital marketing
channels are Internet-based systems for creating, accelerating, and transmitting product value from a
producer to a consumer terminal via digital networks. Digital marketing is a way to promote brands and
products online and through other digital channels. In addition to their website, a company might also use
PPC and display Ads, email marketing, mobile technology like smartphones, social media, and other
mediums to attract and engage their target consumers
Digital marketers are in charge of driving brand awareness and lead generation through all the digital
channels -- both free and paid -- that are at a company's disposal. These channels include social media, the
company's own website, search engine rankings, email, display advertising, and the company's blog.
The digital marketer usually focuses on a different key performance indicator (KPI) for each channel so they
can properly measure the company's performance across each one. A digital marketer who's in charge of
SEO, for example, measures their website's "organic traffic" -- of that traffic coming from website visitors
who found a page of the business's website via a Google search.

Scope of Digital Marketing in India:
Information Technology has brought in a massive shift, totally reshaping the way people think about
things. Technology's capabilities are limitless, and it continues to expand as society advances toward a
more advanced stage. All people with an interest in studying in this field now have more employment
options and chances as a result of this. As we all know, the globe is in constantly evolving, and India is no
exception.
In India, digital marketing has been growing for the past 4-5 years. People previously had little knowledge
about digital marketing, such as how to start and grow a YouTube channel, Google AdSense, Google
AdWords, and other related topics. People are now beginning to use the Internet and social media to grow
their businesses. The digital revolution has occurred as ISPs (Internet Service Providers) have started to
provide Internet at higher speeds at lower prices. In India, digital marketing firms and individuals have
been growing and doing their best.
Every customer-oriented service industry relies on digital marketing to help organizations optimize business
processes, achieve cost reductions, drive revenue development, and maintain a competitive edge in the
marketplace. Digital Marketing is used by businesses to advertise their products and services to a bigger
audience and to target clients based on their location or demographics.
Increased revenues, improved conversion rate, proportion of return visitors, organic traffic volumes, and
lower bounce rates are just a few of the key goals of digital marketing. Digital marketing also allows
businesses to keep a steady stream of fresh leads while lowering the expense of obtaining new clients.

Facebook Analytics allows you to understand and optimize your complete customer journey across mobile,
web, bots, offline, and more. It is a robust tool that lets marketers explore users’ interactions with advanced
goal paths and sales funnels for Facebook ads.
Followings are the ads that were runed and managed by me. We can check all the detailed anayltics like
reach we got, impressions, CPC, etc.

Depending on the objective you choose when you create your campaign, your ads can appear on
Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Audience Network. Ads Manager groups placements by
how people experience your ads across platforms. It is recommended that you choose the automatic
placements setting in Ads Manager because it allows our delivery system to make the most of your budget.
Targeting Audience:
The figure shows the targeting of audience. We can target audience by creating a custom audience
according to location, age and gender. This way we can maintain the audience size with maximum
potential reach. Audience size should neither be specific nor board. It is one of the most important tasks.
Google Analytics is one of the most popular digital analytics software. It is Google's free web analytics
service that allows you to analyze in-depth detail about the visitors on your website. It provides valuable
insights that can help you to shape the success strategy of your business. The images below show the Google
Analytics tool used for the purpose of viewing real time traffic, users and bounce rates.

Analysis of Graphicart Analytics:
Google Analytics provides an overview of the brand page of Graphicart which shows the number of users,
sessions initiated by users, session durations and bounce rates. The bounce rate shows the percentage of
users who only view the page and do not necessarily interact with the page further.\

Keyword Research and planning:
Keyword Planning is a process for getting keyword metrics and forecasts as well as searching for new
keywords to add to campaigns. Key word research is the process of discovering which words and phrases
your target audience is using to search for websites and answers to questions on search engines.
Learnings:
Working as an intern at the organization was a terrific experience because it gave me exposure to the
organization's real working environment. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about the disciplines,
efforts, struggles, and morals in a real-world setting. The following are the major lessons learnt
during the internship period:

Conclusion:
The future of marketing is digital marketing. According to the rate of growth in India, it would be the most
potent medium of communication for every brand within 5 to 10 years. The right initiative from the brand
might help it stand out on social media and build out a place for itself.
Throughout the internship, I did my best to learn from a professional point of view and put what I learned
into practice. I applied theoretical information gained earlier in my educational career as well as what I
learned during the internship programmes. I attempted to cover the overall conclusions of the internship
term in this report, as well as the knowledge gained to the extent feasible. I was given the opportunity to
learn a lot about social media marketing. During the internship, I have discovered that social media
marketing is a broad sector that may be pursued as a career. During the internship, I gained a practical
understanding of the interaction between SMM and Designing
In conclusion, my internship at SG Gurukul was a fantastic opportunity for me to get exposure to the
professional world while also assisting me in the implementation of my knowledge. It was quite good to
me in terms of learning a lot and what works in the real world.
