CHARACTERISATION OF Nikola Tesla

In this movie extract, Nikola Tesla looks like a god or a superhero.

As a matter of fact, he seems powerful, strong, almighty, confident, and
also proud of his creation, because he is walking through an electricity
field unhurt / unharmed.

Experiment 1:

a top hat / a complete failure

angry < mad < furious at someone

disappointed

=> Tesla thought he failed to clone his guest's hat.

Experiment 2:

Alley's cat / to shoot sparks at ... / lightning / thunder / Zeus =

Jupiter

=> At first, Angier (the guest) thought Tesla failed (once again). But
there were plenty of (= a lot of) top hats and two cats outside Tesla's
laboratory.

So Tesla did manage to build a cloning machine.
