Plant With Purpose to Host Annual Planting Hope Gala on October 9th
Dinner and Auction to Benefit International Rural Poor SAN DIEGO September 15, 2010 Plant With Purpose, a local nonprofit organization working internationally to reverse poverty and deforestation, will hold its annual Planting Hope Gala on October 9th, 2010 at the San Diego Marriott La Jolla at 6 p.m. This year, Plant With Purpose hopes to raise $350,000 to directly benefit the lives of the rural poor around the globe, particularly in earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Hosted by renowned auctioneer and former NBC San Diego morning news anchor Bill Menish, the annual Planting Hope Gala is the organizations largest fundraising event of the year. The gala will feature exciting silent and live auctions, an opportunity drawing to win an IPAD, an elegant dinner, and the chance to partner with Plant With Purpose to transform the lives of the rural poor during the Fund A Need auction.
