Write a story which involves a rediscovery of something lost

The greying leaves of trees shuddered as the wintry piercing wind

blew through their thinning branches. The evening had turned grey,
like dusty canvas, abandoned. Marcia sat there, staring off into the
distance, her skin pale and eyes pulled down by the weight of sadness.
She came here, to the park often, just to clear her head of thoughts
that would otherwise grip her throat and strangle the life out of her. It
had been this was for a while now. Since Pat.
Marcia’s life was plain white. No colour, just plainness. Anyone who
had known her 3 years ago would’ve been astonished at how she
turned out; for she was the most joyous, enthusiastic and vibrant
person ever. She was always had paint on her hands as art was a part
of her. That was until she lost her sister. With her she even lost her
passion for art. She locked away all her supplies in the back closet,
never to be touched again. It was her way of coping. Any sign of
colour in her life she removed for it would all remind her of the
colourful times she had with her sister.
