interface or download the local VPN client.

• Once the client downloads run the installer & follow along with the prompts.

Windows:

Mac:

• Launch the FortiClient application. Enter your N# & password then click “Connect”.
• A Duo push will be sent to your default Duo Security device. The client will pause around 40% & will not connect
until the Duo push is accepted.

Note: The FortiClient does not prompt you to accept the Duo push & will time out if the push is not accepted.
This will cause an error “Unable to logon to the server. Your credentials may not be configured properly”.

• The following screen will be displayed in the FortiClient when the connection has been made successfully.

Note: Once connected to the VPN your device is given a new IP address & all internet traffic goes through the
UNF network. Keep this in mind while using the VPN & make sure to disconnect from the VPN once you have
completed your work.
