Yes, I think that words have power. Because, words have energy and power with the ability to
help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble. Think of the power we
wield and the impact we can make if we become more intentional about encouraging our
sponsored children. The right words make all the difference. Words cannot change reality, but
they can change how people perceive reality. Words create filters through which people view the
world around them. A single word can make the difference between liking a person and disliking
that person. If a friend describes the person you are about to meet for the first time as
untrustworthy, you will be predisposed to view that person as untrustworthy, regardless of the
person's actual level of trustworthiness. The single word "untrustworthy" creates a filter, or
primacy effect, that predisposes you to view the person you are about to meet as untrustworthy.
Thereafter, you will tend to view everything that person says or does as untrustworthy. Words
have power. Their meaning crystallizes perceptions that shape our beliefs, drive our behavior,
and ultimately, create our world. Their power arises from our emotional responses when we read,
speak, or hear them.
Sometimes it all depends on the context. I think a more correct statement would be “Words only
have so much power if you let them”. While words always have power, they have excess, much
more than “average” power, only if you let them. You can only boost the power as much as you
let them. This is especially true for single, isolated words, or short sentences without much sense.
Words are powerful. Whether you write or speak them, they do have an impact on you and the
others. They express feelings and share knowledge. They can change someone’s mood
completely and ignite a spark in them. In this video we learn Words, when said and articulated in
the right way, can change someone's mind. They can alter someone's belief. You have the power
to bring someone from the slums of life and make a successful person out of them, or destroy
someone's happiness using only your words. A sample choice of word can make a difference
between someone accepting or denying your message. You can have a very beautiful thing to
say, but say it in the wrong words and it’s gone. Words have power, words are power, and words
could be your power. You can change a life, inspire your nation and make up this world a
beautiful place.
All over the world, words are the primary way people communicate with each other. It doesn’t
matter where you live, what color you are, or what creed you follow; words convey your
thoughts. There is no bigger medium of expression.
Use Sound effects: Adds element of excitement & counters monotony. Draws in sense of
hearing.
Use Movement: People's eyes are attracted to movement. Draws in sense of sight.
Emotions or Personal relatable stories: People connect more when they can imagine or
recall their own similar experiences. For example, Parent perspective with children.
Children perspective with parent.
Flow of transition: Promotes the flow of attention & reduces mental distraction when
people think.
