Polygon/Quadrilateral Worksheet

A polygon is another word for shape, with several sides. The

straight lines must be closed off to be a polygon. For a polygon
to be a quadrilateral, it must have 4 sides. Another word for
quadrilateral is “quad”. Quadrilaterals can be convex or
nonconvex. Another word for nonconvex is “concave”.

____________________ Cityscape

Draw out a cityscape using polygons and quadrilaterals. You

can use as many shapes as you would like. Each shape should
be used at least one time. Do not use polygons or
quadrilaterals that you are unsure of. They must be mentioned
on page 74 of the Numbers A workbook or on this worksheet.

Use a ruler, pencil and eraser when drawing out your cityscape
on a blank piece of paper. The paper can be vertical or
horizontal. You can color it in and be as creative as you want
after you draw it out.

Place a checkmark next to every polygon and/or quadrilateral

that you have used.
