OVERT
*Cant come home after midnight
*All family members get together for dinner.

COVERT
*You cant question to decisions your father made.
*you can't talk about the problems your family had before again.

2- Please define ‘’family’’ from a systems perspective and define ‘’your family’’
by using examples for each of definition points that your textbook describes.

 We have 3 subsystems in our family. There are marital, parental and sibling
subsystems. My mom and my dad in the marital and parental subsystems also my
brothers and i in the sibling subsystems.

When my brother and dad get angry at each other instead of solving
their problems they getting mad at me for what ı’ve done.

2) Differentiation of self
Our neighbor's daughter had different political views with her family,
and even if they had different views, they were happy together because they
were a family.

My neighbor has an overweight father and he was constantly pushing
his child to practice sports and diet because of his own overweight.

My father can’t Show us his love openly because he hasn’t seen any
openly love from his own family either.

5) Emotional Cutoff
my aunt has a conservative family. her daughter doesn't think the
same way, so they had a lot of problems, but after she started earning her
own money, they stopped seeing each other completely.

1- In our family no one messes with each others phones without permission from
anyone.
2- No one forces anyone to talk about something they dont want to talk.

1- Alliance: My father and my brother love to play football very much, but they don’t
let me know when they go because i dont like it.

2- Coalition: When ı want to make a decision on my own, my mom and dad are
always against to me.

7-Give two examples for external boundaries of your family and explain them
in detail.

1- Problems that are discussed in the family are not discussed with someone outside
the family
2- We don’t talk about our family’s financial situation with anyone else.
