Poverty is an old problem that has not been and is difficult to solve. The
government itself has made several efforts to alleviate poverty, for example
through the Family Hope Program (FHP). One difficulty faced by the government
is whether or not the recipient is eligible for the Family Hope Program (FHP)
assistance. The existence of a mismatch in the acceptance of FHP assistance
causes people who are still capable of being registered as FHP beneficiaries,
while those who are fairly poor are not registered as FHP recipients. This is due
to the lack of accuracy in validating the data so that a lot of people's data is
inaccurate. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the determination of FHP
assistance by means of clustering using the K-Means algorithm so that the
recipients of FHP assistance are on target. From the calculations that have been
done, the authors recommend 5 clusters, which are calculated manually and using
SPSS tools. The results of Cluster 1 manual calculations obtained 67 population
data that entered the first priority of beneficiaries while using SPSS obtained 1
population data that entered the first priority of recipients of assistance, Cluster 2
manual calculations obtained 26 population data that entered the fourth priority
while using SPSS obtained 70 population data entered into the fifth priority of
beneficiaries, Cluster 3 manual calculations obtained 5 population data entered
into the fifth priority while using SPSS obtained 25 population data entered into
the third priority recipients of assistance, Cluster 4 manual calculations obtained
23 population data obtained entered into the second priority while using SPSS
obtained 108 population data that entered the fourth priority of beneficiaries and
Cluster 5 manual calculations obtained 84 population data entered into the third
priority while using SPSS obtained 1 population data entered into the second
priority of the beneficiary.
