Dear Ally Kerner:

Heartiest congratulations! You are one of our outstanding students in The University of Arizona
College of Nursing who have earned special recognition for superior academic achievement during
the 2020-2021 academic year. You will be honored during the College of Nursing Honors
Celebration on Friday, October 8, 2021, starting at 3:00 p.m. in College of Nursing, 1305 N
Martin Avenue, room 117, Tucson. The event will also be held via zoom:
(https://arizona.zoom.us/s/86391420679). We encourage you to invite your family and friends to
join you in celebration of your accomplishments, via zoom and in person. For the safety of
everyone, we are asking each student to limit their invitees to 2 in-person guests per student.

Academic Distinction is granted to students who have completed at least 30 credits during the
previous year and maintained a minimum 3.5 grade point average. You are to be commended for
your achievement and will receive a certificate of Academic Distinction.

A short presentation will take place at this event. We encourage you to attend this event, so that
we can publicly celebrate your accomplishments. College of Nursing professors will excuse
students to allow participation. Refreshments and a tour the Steele Innovative Learning Center
will follow.
