APPEARANCE AND ODOR: Amber to orange liquid, garlic odor.

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS: Low to moderate toxicity by all routes of exposure.


Prolonged contact may cause skin irritation. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin.

If swallowed, call physician. Only induce vomiting at the instructions of a physician. In case of
skin contact, remove contaminated clothing immediately. Cleanse skin thoroughly with soap
and water. Do not reuse clothing without laundering. In case of eye contact, irrigate with plenty
of water. In case of inhalation, move to a well-ventilated area.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA AND FIRE FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Use foam, water, fog spray, CO2 or dry chemicals for combating fires. Combustion releases
toxic sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide gases. NIOSH approved, self-
contained breathing apparatus should be used by fire fighting personnel. Move containers away
from fire and/or keep cool with water spray.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IF MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:

Remove all ignition sources. Avoid all skin contact with liquid. Do not breathe vapors. Use
NIOSH approved protective clothing, respirator or mask, and eye protection. Contain and
collect small spills with an absorbent. Collect large spills in containers or a vacuum truck. After
cleanup, flush affected areas with water.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:

Dispose of in accordance with EPA rules and regulations.

Do not get on eyes, skin or clothing. Wash skin thoroughly after handling. Launder
contaminated clothing before reuse. Avoid prolonged inhalation of vapors. Use adequate
ventilation. Keep away from heat and flames. Keep away from acids and aqueous solutions
containing acids. Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, well-ventilated place. Product may
be stored in stainless steel, polypropylene, polyethylene or glass containers. Avoid contact
with aluminum, brass, copper, PVC, zinc or galvanized metals. Plain steel, epoxies, phenolics,
rubber and fiberglass are not recommended.

Utilize a closed system process when available. If not available, provide adequate ventilation. Food,
beverage and tobacco products should not be carried, stored or consumed where this material is used.
Prevent eye and skin contact. Wear protective equipment for operations where skin contact is possible.
Provide eyewash fountain and safety fountain in close proximity to points of potential exposure.
