Where do we see time gap in the chapter?

In chapter 6 we can see a time gap at the bigging of our story. The time gap of
some years. More specifically between two especially important events. The first
one is when Charles and Lucie Darnay have already returned from their
honeymoon and they had their first visitor, Sydney Carton. They had a
conversation remarkably interesting about the rudeness of Sydney. Then after our
time gap (some years later) we have also an interesting event. Lucie had a
daughter, also called Lucie, who was six years old. Of course, our story continues
with the revolution in July 1789.

What themes and symbols do we see in chapter 6?

In chapter 6 we also see themes and symbols. One especially important theme of
this chapter is the revolution. All the residents of the city took part in this
revolution with any of their power. The streets of the city filled with rebels against
the aristocrats. Also an another theme of this chapter is Madame’s Defarge
interest in the meaning of ‘’One Hundred and North Tower’’.‘’One Hundred and
North Tower’’ is something that has bothered us a lot and we can also
characterize is as a symbol. I believe that also the tow letters on the wall of the
room where Madame Defarge had gone is a symbol of this chapter because it
symbolize the name of Alexandre Manette.
