appropriate attitude and universal values to teach students with both time tested as well as modern
technologies in education in any place in the world.

A global teacher isn’t just confined in one area of a classroom but he/she should explore the
unknown and continuosly learn about the world. A global teacher should be aware of the various
global issues such as social, economic, environmental, and multiculturalism. Becoming an active
world citizen will arouse students to be an active participant and can become someone who will
be emulated by the students.

As a teacher, our concern is to carry out the lesson effective and effect learning. The teacher also
has the ability to bring a global touch in the classroom. It is not complete if the student will be
taught how to speak the english language correctly but to add global dimension is to make sure
that student learn how to communicate in english in a variety of audiences. How can the teacher
do that? The answer is to become a global teacher. But, how can a teacher become a global
teacher? Before answering that questions, let me define what is a global teacher first. A global

Love, Accountability for high standard, Sociability, and Sincerity. An effective teacher should be
committed to her/his profession. His/Her commitment to serve others and create a differences
becomes her passion. The global teacher aims for quality and excellence in carrying out the
teaching learning process. They should also have the social skills and must know how to deal
with people in all walks of life. The effective teacher must know how to communicate, to say the
right words at the right time, to make students learn through clear and understandable language.
Lastly , the global teacher has sincerity, can be measured in one’s dealing the learners and other
people. As a teacher with sincere intension of helping the learners, is loved by the students.
