How the stress affects the mind and the body

Long-term activation of your body's stress response system, along with prolonged
exposure to cortisol and other stress hormones, can increase your risk of health
problems such as:
-digestive problems
-anxiety
-headaches
-depression
-Sleeping problems
-weight gain
-memory and concentration problems
-arterial hypertension
-heart disease and stroke
WHY IS IMPORTANT TO MANAGE IT?

It would be very simplistic to assume that stress is just a personal problem, specific to each
individual; Those who get stressed do not do so because their brain undergoes a spontaneous
change, but because something in their interaction with the environment has changed; For
example, someone has assigned you a task to finish in 24 hours, and you feel you won't be able
to do it. In other words, stress arises between the person and the context in which that person
is, and it would be just as valid to say that there are stressed people as to say that there are
stressful situations.
