COMPANY BACKGROUND

Stockbridge Company Limited (SCL) is a limited liability company registered under the
Ghana’s Companies Code, ACT 179, 1963.

It is a member of the TAK GROUP, Ghana.

SCL is an existing but expanding business manufacturing, real estate developers building
and road construction, civil engineering, import and export of general goods and trading
entity established in Ghana in December 1995. The Company has a team of competent
management team that has successfully managed the company’s portfolio since its
inception in 1995.

Stockbridge Company Limited is into wide scope of activities covering all forms of civil
works and infrastructure, building, roads, mining support services (haul road construction
& maintenance, tails dam and land reclamation) obtained with comprehensive
engineering and managerial capabilities ensure the ability of Stockbridge Company
Limited to meet the requirements of clients from conception to completion of any project.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Anthony Kwarteng: Managing Director

He is innovative and highly skilled engineering enthusiast. He is a dynamic entrepreneur

with over 20years experience in construction and oil industry. Having served as CEO for
different companies in the Construction and Oil Industry, he comes on board with vast
experience on increasing the growth of a business.

Owusu Preprah: Finance Manager

Preprah has a lot of experience in finance and accounting. His area of expertise is
Treasury and profitability management, having acquired over 6 years’ experience in that
sector. Having served as the Finance /Administrate Manger from the Banking and Oil
downstream sector, he comes on board with vast experience from the banking and audit
sector. Holds an MBA in Finance, ACCA and member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants

Mr. Kwaku Osei Frempah: Building Technology Engineer

Kwaku is the Engineer, he holds BSc in Building Technology from Kwame University of
Science and Technology, Kumasi. He also holds an MBA. His specialty has been in
Building and Civil Engineering, Structural Works, General Construction Management and
Supervision. He has over 18 years working experience in construction and people
management.

Mr. Anthony Kobina Akonu: Project Manager

Kobina holds degree in Building Technology. He has over 20 years’ experience in the
construction industry having worked with companies as such Lamas Constructions
Company Limited, White Temple Constructions Limited and the Department of Urban
roads.

Edmond Amoako-Attah: Project Development Manager

He is a Chemical Engineer with experience in different roles in Manufacturing, Sales,

Marketing and Project Management. Has over 6 years’ experience in project development
Holds a BSC in Engineering and MA in strategic marketing. He comes on board with
knowledge on process development to optimize profitability.

Development and Railway line development.

Boankra Inland Port

Background
The Government of Ghana has prioritized the need to involve the private sector in developing the nations
logistical infrastructure
The Ministry of Transport (MOT), The Ghana Ports & Harbours Authority (GPHA) and Ghana Shippers
Authority (“Grantor”) launched a transaction under a BOT-scheme in March 2018.
Boankra Inland Port is located at a 400-acre L-shaped piece of land, 27 km away from Kumasi, the economic
center of the country and accessible by road. Rail access from Tema Deepsea port to the site is foreseen from
2022.
The project is to be a 30-year BOT contract.
Key points about this Project
1. The Boankra Inland Port is strategically located near the economic center of Kumasi and is the principal
inland port for the country.
2. BIP has direct access to and from the two biggest ports in Ghana, Tema and Takoradi
3. Cargo volumes are projected to reach 250,000 TEU in 2026 and 500,000 tons of general cargo in 2025
4. Indicative total investments of 50 M USD for first phase of the Inland Port
5. BIP is connected by the national highway to/from Tema-Kumasi (N6) and rail access is foreseen for
2022

Railway Line Development
Background;
Stockbridge in partnership with Yapı Merkezi in Turkey are working on development of a standard
gauge railway line from Techiman-Paga (477km long).
The turkish team, will be carrying out the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) after which a
detailed feasibility will be developed.
Aside the construction of the 477km railway line, there will be the construction of ultra-modern
train stations along the line.
Indicative timelines:
1. The total project is estimated at USD 2.7 billion which will be carried out on an EPC +
finance basis.
2. Construction will be completed within 36 months.
