International travel is becoming cheaper, and countries are opening their doors to more and

more tourists. Do the advantages of incread tourism outweigh disadvantages?

Nowadays, as lots of different methods of transportation are more affordable than they were,
global tourism has undergone an exponential increase in international tourists within this century.
Although drawbacks of this trend are inevitable, I think the benefit it brings outweighs the
disadvantages.

The vast increase of tourists leads to the excessive arising of travel agencies. The travel agency
industry per se has nothing wrong; however, not all of them legitimately operate. Lots of them run
under the guise of famous companies and try to scam tourists. Therefore, should travelers not plan
well, they can be trapped by so-called cheap packages offered by those companies. Besides frauds
and scams, cross-border criminal activities would be the second downside of this trend. The fact is
that smuggling drug dealing is running rampant, and traveling now is so easy that the culprit
feigning a tourist can commit a crime and immediately flee to other countries.

However, the advantages of international traveling have a profound impact on both travelers and
locals. First, when more and more people traveling around the world, they develop cultural
sensitivity which is the key in our globalization. Being aware of cultural values is not only
fascinating, but also helps travelers understand international issues and conflicts, or even cultural
norms of foreign countries. A good example for this is that Americans have a chance to understand
and respect Asians in terms of tradition and race, and vice versa. Another positive impact can refer
to the increase in jobs, a higher quality of life for locals. Goods are manufactured more locally, and
new markets are opened for local business owners to expand. Thanks to which (these), many jobs
are created and the unemployment rate drops.

In conclusion, the fact that cheaper traveling leads to economic growth clearly outweighs (more
significant than =overshadow=…) the argument that it intimidates the safety of society.

- Generally, your writing was at a high level. You included advance vocabs, and linking words like
“besides”, “ therefore”, “however”,etc. i’m not here to help you as a teacher because I’m just a
learner like you. So all I can do is to point out your minor vocabs and list down the things I
learnt from your writing. I’ll let the feedbacks about T.A, C.C for other people. Sincere.
- Some outstanding vocabs and structures:
