Editing

1. Create the folder for saving new features by opening the arc catalog as indicated
below D:\GIS\GIS-WSSP\Vector\Editing


Start Editing

1. Open the folder D:\GIS\GIS-WSSP\Vector\Editing and create New shape files

2. Enable editing and from Editor by Clicking on Editor Toolbar
3. Digitize the polygon using the borders of New BDU stadium in the Main Campus and
double click when you finish your digitizing

4. Save the Edits from the Editor Toolbar by clicking on ‘yes’ when you are requested to save.
5. Create another shape file in the same folder under the name Main campus border and
digitize by enabling the starting edits from the editor tool bar

After finishing the edits click on editor and stop editing

6. Similarly Create the students Dormitories, Campus roads, Admiration Buildings, Libraries.
Project -2

Following similar procedures digitize based on the last image and present the Map using without
the background image(except using it for digitizing) and also include the green area other than
previously digitized above.

Note: While you present the map prepare the standard map by including all map components
from Map title to projection type.
