that they did not invade their privacy without consent from them, that the

research did not hurt their feelings and that all information received from them

was acknowledge and accurately represented. The purpose of the research was

explained to the participants were informed of the goal of the study and informed

that they might withdraw at any time throughout the activity should they so

choose. None of the participants had any issues with, and permission was also

acquired from them. Sincerity and integrity were used in everything that was

done for this study.

I will fully disclose to my co-researchers any aspects of the study that might

influence their willingness to participate before requesting their consent or

agreement, and I should respond to their inquiries in a manner that is

understandable to them. By offering them the option to consent to or object to

involvement in the research as well as to withdraw participation at any moment, I

will respect their right to decide whether or not to take part.

As stated in Chapter 1, the researcher hopes that this study will contribute to the paucity

of literature on men's challenges to street harassment in the Philippines. It is also hoped

that the findings, while not generalizable, will add value to society by providing insights

into the challenges faced by all men in the Philippines, allowing society at large to

understand these experiences.
