The video is titled as ‘Why does the Universe Exist?’. It is a ted talk by Jim Holt. In
this video, Jim Holt is talking about the existence of universe. He is talking about the
different beliefs regarding the existence of universe. Some believes that god created the world
from nothing whereas some people believe that universe was created out of nowhere. Jim
Holt is trying to connect it to different branches of philosophy that talks about existence,
reality, metaphysics, etc. The ides of existence of universe are very much linked to the
philosophy. It has become a problematic question for most of the scientist to find an answer.
He also says that the question about the existence rhymes with the existence of humans. It is
true that we are living in a generic reality. Living in a generic reality includes good times and
bad times or judging the right and wrong. We use our knowledge to do this and it gives a
purpose in life.
