1 With the invention of the personal computer and Internet, a new age in

2 communications begins. Now people can communicate faster and

3 more easy than ever before. Writing, editing, and storing information

4 became quick and easy. It is no longer necessary write draft after draft

5 when changes can be made so simply by use a word processor program.

6 Messages, can now sent in no time to anywhere in the world, without

7 addressing envelopes or licking the stamps.

8 Around the year 1450, a similar revolution at communications had occurred

in Germany. This happened when Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing

9 press. Gutenberg was not the frist person to use printing to copy a piece of

10 writing. Printing had already been invented in China, which they used clay

11 to print oriental characters. Small item, such as posters and flyers, were

printed in Europe too, using the woodblock method of printing. Books and

12 other large work, however, was still being copied by hand. At that time,

13 books were usually written only by Latin, and only the most educated

14 people read them. Gutenberg printing press had changed all of this.
