I learned that social worker in the Philippines is generalist, as social worker in

the Philippines doesn’t have major towards specific areas. In addition, in the webinar
I also learned that MSW mean Medical Social worker, this social worker give bridge to
the patient to access medical services that beyond their capacity. Sir Keith also added
that social worker in this field handling different client from mental ill, to client with
diseased. Moreover, I learned that the job of the medical social worker is to Individual
Evaluation and assessment, where the social worker is assessing the client if it really
needs financial assistance. Second the MSW will Pre-admit the client and will planned
the discharge of the client or patient.
