Immediate Actions

1 Call for help

Use self-inflating bag with reservoir and facemask

2 to support breathing. If muscle relaxed insert
oropharyngeal airway and hand ventilate using a two
person technique. Check that chest is moving.

3 Check that bag is attached to oxygen source set at

15L/min.

Keep capnography in the circuit and observe for

4 trace with ventilation.

5 Maintain until advanced airway provider arrives.
