I. Introduction

It is a very effective and practical instrument for administering and detecting. This aids in
monitoring kids' academic progress. For both teachers and pupils, it is a tough and arduous
undertaking. However, it is a useful tool for promoting learning.

II. Content

Meaning and Nature of Performance Assessment

It is a methodical procedure, by which we evaluate kids' test results for performance.


Additionally, they aid in gathering information about students' attitudes, knowledge, and skills.
They also aid in raising students' performance through the use of numerous types of evaluation.

Moreover, the assessment process is closely related to the learning process. It fits in
similarly with the teaching and study plan. The course of study has a consistent role in monitoring
students' development and accomplishment. The teacher and students collaborate to attain the
course of study's objectives.

III. Synthesis

Meaning of Performance Assessment

Is a procedure whereby the teacher uses hands-on performance to assess the pupils'
knowledge and skills. It focuses on what the student could do with regard to particular tasks that
could only show what he or she knows.

Nature of Performance Assessment

A process that measures learners’ stock knowledge and skills through direct engagement.

V. Reflection

As I go over, the idea of assessment is always accompanied by tests was at my subject


concepts. But afterward, I understand that assessments exist independently of testing and that
assessments can exist without tests. Tests are used to make observations on students'
performance, which is the major goal of assessment. Once those observations are made, the tests
are adjusted as needed.
