Dear Sir Tecson,

It is with a heavy heart that I must immediately resign my position as a SHS Faculty member at Our Lady
of Fatima – Laguna Campus due to a serious illness in my family. My Father suffered from stroke yesterday
evening (August 18, 2022). He is the one providing everything for my two younger brothers, a grade 12 shs
student and a grade 10 jhs student. Likewise, he is the one taking care of my ailing mother who have a stage
2 ovarian cancer. With this situation, I have no other choice but to be with my family. To help them all
throughout this unfortunate event with all that I can. I need to take over our family business so that the
income will still continue to come and at the same there will be someone who will look for my siblings and
take care of my parents as both of them are now incapable of doing any work.

I have tried to explored other options, however, there is no other choice but for me to resign my position.
It is primarily because, what I will be earning is not enough to provide for my family. And I need to be with
them in most cases. So it is more logical to take over our family business so that I will can juggle my time
with my family and the work because I have the authority towards my time.

I want to take this time to thank you for all of the kindness you have shown me all throughout my stay in
your esteemed institution. I wanted you to know that I really appreciate the opportunity that you have given
me. But I really cannot continue anymore, and need to leave the institution immediately to be with my
family as they are my priority right now.

I am apologizing for this sudden event that I need to leave. I apologize for this will be a challenging scenario
for the whole department. But I know the institution can still continue moving forward without me.
