National Coordinator SUMMARY OF ASSIGNED DUTIES: The incumbent will provide support through performing of the following duties (not limited to): 1. Overall management of the project activity 2. Coordination, monitoring and supervision of aligned activities of Outbreak Investigation Officers, Microbiologist, Enumerator/Communicator, Data Management Assistant and Medical Technologist, 3. Overseeing the daily activities conducted by above-mentioned staff by collecting daily reports from individual staff/teams and compilation to prepare a weekly report and urgent notification of concerned issues to the Director, IEDCR or as designated 4, Regular field visits for supervision and monitoring related activities 5. Perform contact tracing in terms of Contact identification, Contact listing and Contact follow-up; 2. Interview any alert or potential case (or proxies if the person is dead) and determine if the person meets case definition; 3. Generate initial list of contacts from the case and update in contact tracing monitoring platform (GoData); 4, Interview all contacts and assess symptomatic contacts to determine whether the contact should be considered as case; 5. Ensure regular follow-up, it should be conducted with all contacts to monitor for symptoms and test for signs of infection; 6. Any other duties assigned by supervisor. 7. Assisting in laboratory works by conducting RT-PCR tests and sequencing of collected samples 2. Responsible for providing oversight, support and coordinate different activities at every level according to national and international standards as necessary; 3. Investigation on complaints of hazardous working conditions; Developing training material and conducting training programs for lab personnel both in IEDCR and other local sites as necessary; 5. Developing SOPs, and other related materials as needed, providing laboratory related information to assure the best available methods and equipment are adopted to minimize the hazards in the work place; 6. Organize the lab (both IEDCR lab and sample collection from different sites); 7. Supervision and/or guiding work of laboratory technicians and/or other laboratory employees including, but not limited to, performance management, personnel development and hiring; 8.
