1. ADOPTING A SUSTAINABLE ENERGY PLAN FOR OUR

SHOPPING MALL
Sustainable energy meets our current energy needs while avoiding destruction of the
planet's resources. Sustainable energy should be encouraged because it is good for the
environment and saves money. We could use LED light bulbs and Solar Energy panels,
which are energy-efficient, long-lasting, and can reduce huge energy consumption
compared to normal ones. Switching to energy-saving applications and rechargeable
power sources reduces energy costs, conserves power, and benefits the environment.

2. IMPROVING WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES

An effective waste management program in place will help to keep our shopping mall
clean, safe and aesthetically-pleasing. Reducing waste not only protects the
environment, but it also saves money on disposal costs. Similarly, recycling and/or
reusing waste benefits the environment by reducing the need to extract resources and
reducing the risk for contamination.

3. ESTABLISHING A GREEN FRIENDLY PROGRAM FOR

CUSTOMERS AND AVOIDING SINGLE-USE PLASTICS
Green loyalty programs for our customers are a great way to protect our planet and it
can also change our valued customers’ attitudes toward the environment.
To explain further, we could implement this by giving customers a discount every time
they use their own bags for shopping: or every time they participate in our green
recycling programs. By doing this, they will be influenced to be environmentally friendly
too and want to shop in our mall often since they know that we care about the
environment that we live in as well.
Also, Single-use plastics are mainly used at fast-food courts within shopping malls, but
they aren't necessarily the best choice, or the only option available for packaging. Simply
providing alternatives such as compostable straws, paper plates, and reusable utensils
can help to reduce the negative impact of plastic waste on the environment.
