 Introduction
T
he word of God is the manifestation of
His mind and will for man in order for
him to carry out that very purpose for
which he was created.
Everyone is created for a purpose and the only
way to bring to limelight and work in accordance to
that for which you were created is to first of all
understand the reason why the creator(God)
created you and partner with Him through His
Word; then you will begin to gain access into your
purpose for life.
Without a purpose there is no need for
creation
As believers we understand that the Word of God is
our life manual by which we navigate through the
journey of life.
“Thy Word is a lamb unto my feet, and a light
unto my path” (Psalm 119:105).
In the world of darkness everyone is in need of light

and the source and the potency of your light is what
determines how far you can go in darkness.
Having the Word is having all you need Having the
Word is having the living light needed to walk on
earth. Having the Word is what gives you dominion
over darkness as revealed in John 1:1-5
“In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God. All
things where made by him; and without him
was not anything made that was made. In
him was life; and the life was the light of
men. And the light shineth in darkness; and
the darkness comprehended it not.”
From the above scripture we are made to
understand that Jesus is the Word of God made
flesh and having Christ is having the Word - as long
as you walk in him there is no darkness at all. Also
having Him is having the light which can never
perish and the bible said that this life is the light of
men; so until you have him you cannot have access
to light which is also what give you “life”.
As you go through this book I pray your eyes of

understanding be enlightened in order for you to
take full delivery of what God has in His Word for
you. Amen
For there is a Word for you in Him, even Christ said,
in Hebrews 10:7, I come in the volume of the book
as it is written concerning me(paraphrased). That
means for everyone existing there is a Word. That
Word you need to light your path is locating you
now.
We understand that the bible is the most ancient
but most current history that men possess, it came
fresh from the fountain of eternal truth, and
through all ages divine hand has preserved it with
purity.
Only in the Word we behold the power that laid the
foundation of the earth and that stretched out the
heavens. Most Christians tend to undermine the
efficacy of the Word, we must understand that a
Wordless Christian is a worthless Christian, hence
the need to acquire knowledge about God's Word is
a non-negotiable in our Christian walk with God.
Challenges has no regard for the office you occupy,

and this makes it imperative for us to embrace the
word. The word is for all not just for pastors only.
Jesus our perfect example cast out demons and
performed great miracles because the Word was
his anchor. He understood the power of the Word,
knew exactly how, when and where to use it.
Whenever the Word of God which is our sword of
the spirit is introduced to any issue, the battle is on
the way to its end. You thus need to be induced with
the Word and speak it out. It must not depart from
your mouth because life and death are in the power
of the tongue, Proverbs 18:21
You may be wondering why Christians are going
through so many challenges today; well, like my
spiritual father used to say – it is not unspiritual to
be challenged but it is unscriptural to be defeated.
This however is determined by your depth in Christ.
That Word you need to light your path in the
journey of destiny is locating you now.

UNDERSTANDING
THE IMPORTANCE
OF THE WORD

T
o live a colorful and glorious life as I have
come to understand is to go for the
Word.
Everything starts from the word; even the world
we live in today came to be by the word. When you
check through the book of Genesis you will discover
how powerful the Word is.
God created everything by the Word of His mouth.
“Without a purpose The Lord told Joshua in Joshua chapter 1 verse 8
there is no need
for creation” that;

“This book of the law shall not depart out of

thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein
day and night, that thou mayest observe to
do according to all that is written therein;
for then thou shall make thy way
prosperous, and thou shall have good
success” (Joshua 1:8)

Prosperity is not for those that labor the most but

for those that labor in accordance to the Word.
Not all successes can be termed good-success; that

is why God said after you have observed to do
according to the Word then you shall have good
success.
If you spend your time laboring in the Word of God
divine inspiration that is needed for productive
labor becomes your portion.
Deuteronomy 28:1-14. “(1) And it shall
come to pass, if thou shalt hearken
diligently unto the voice of the lord thy God
to observe and to do all his commandments
which I command thee this day, that the
LORD thy God will set thee on high above all
the nations of the earth. (2) And all these
blessings shall come on thee, and overtake
thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of
the LORD thy God. (3) Blessed shalt thou be
in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the
field. (4) Blessed shalt be the fruit of thy
body ,and the fruit of thy ground, and the
fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine,
and the flocks of thy sheep. (5)Blessed shall
be thy basket and thy store . (6) Blessed shalt
thou be when thou comest in and blessed
shalt thou be when thou goest out. (7) The
lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up
against thee to be smitten before thy face:

they shall come out against thee one way,
and flee before thee seven way.(8)The LORD
shall command the blessing upon thee in thy
store houses, and in all that thou settest
thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in
the land which the LORD thy God giveth
thee.”
From the above scripture we understand that if you
go about the issues of this life with the Word in
view, you will become great, not only in your house
for the word said the lord shall set you above all the
nations of the earth that is, you become a global
phenomenon and a pace setter working out the
Word of God.
Necessity Of The Word
Heaven and earth will pass but his Word stands
sure
The Word is necessary because no one creates a
product without a manual. We are His creature and
His Word is our manual for living so we must
understand that to navigate through the journey of
life fulfilling purpose we must give heed to the
Word.

 Ephesians 1:11-13. “(11) In whom also we
have obtained an inheritance, being
predestinated according to the purpose of
him who worketh all things after the counsel
of his own will. (12) that we should be to the
praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
(13) in whom ye also trusted, after that ye
heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation :in whom also, after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit
of promise.”
We were predestinated according to God's purpose
and we trust in Him through Christ after hearing the
Word. No one exist by chance and for us to know
the purpose for which God created us, we must give
ourselves to His Word.
As a believer, if your Word foundation is faulty you
can never make the most of your life - for in him was
all things made and without him was not anything
made that was made.
You need to know that the devil our adversary is
roaming up and down trying to destroy the
destinies of the children of God because of lack of
accurate understanding of the Word. God says for
my people are destroyed not for lack of strength,

not for lack of opportunity, not for lack of certificate
but for lack of understanding; for the Word is our
light and it gives us insight.
Knowing what to do and doing it is by wisdom and
wisdom comes from the Word. Know the Word,
take the Word, eat the Word and you will never live
under the torment of the devil.
Come to think of this in Isaiah 43:2-5.
“(2)When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee; and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee: when thou
walkest through the fire, thou shall not be
burnt; neither shall the flame kindle upon
thee. (3) for I am the lord thy God, the Holy
One of Israel, thy saviour: I gave Egypt for
thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. (4)
since thou wast precious in my sight, thou
hast been honoured , and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee, and
people for thy life. (5) fear not for I am with
thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and
gather thee from the west.”
The consciousness of His presence with you alone
take fear away but how can you know this when you
don't create room for His Word?

After all the promises of being with you through all,
some still dwell in fear because of ignorance and
lack of understanding of the Word. I pray that as
you read through this book, God will open your
spirit, soul and body to the understanding of His
Word in Jesus name. The day you get this Word as
written concerning you is the day your destiny will
open up.
Taking myself as example I caught the RHEMA of His
Word in the year 2013 in state church serving God
faithfully in the drama unit. I was desperate to
know God's plan for my life. During Shiloh 2013 the
annual convocation of the winners family I was very
set and prepared to catch something for my life.
While my father Bishop David Oyedepo was
preaching he said “expect a definite encounter with
God tonight” and lo and behold that same night the
Word came YOU ARE SENT TO HEAL ALL THE SICK IN
THE LAND and this Word has enlisted me among
the end time army today; glory to God.
I went through some series of spiritual training at
Dominion Power Bible School, and Word of Faith
Bible Institute (WOFBI). On the day of my

graduation from the leadership diploma
course(LDC) another Word came again and I heard
God clearly He said YOUR NEXT CELEBRATION WILL
BE YOUR INDUCTION AS A PASTOR IN THIS
COMMISSION. This was MAY 5TH 2014, I wanted to
doubt the voice because all induction were done at
that time in Lagos but the Word was so strong on
me and I wrote it down immediately. In October
2019 my induction into full time ministry was done
in that same church Living Faith Church Lokoja.
I believe without hearing those Words from God,
today I would have been living in the dark looking
for where to patch up but the entrance of His Word
has given me life. The same can happen for anyone
if only you can be sensitive to His Word.
You can never get this Word and remain the same
therefore give it all it take. Everything on earth was
created by the Word and so everything on earth
answers to the Word. It will do you good to search
the Word now to know what the lord has created
you for. What gives us freedom is the Word that you
know for you shall know the truth and that truth
you know shall set you free and that truth is the
Word of God which is infallible

THE CREDIBILITY
OF THE WORD
OF GOD
Psalm 12:6. “The Words of the lord are pure
Word, like silver tried in a furnace of earth
purified severn times.” ( NKJ).

N
ew international version said and the
Words of the lord are flawless, like
silver purified in a crucible, like gold
refined seven times. The Word is a pure Word there
“the bible is the is no impurity found in it, that is why many books
only charm that does can inform but only the Word of the lord can
not lose its potency” transform.

The Word is very quick and powerful, sharper than

any two edged sword, consider how sharp a new
razor blade is the bible says the Word is sharper
than it and also quick and powerful that is there is
no barrier in the frequency of the Word it can cover
any range, there is no wall it cannot penetrate:

Jesus Christ the truth testified in the written Word

John10:34-36 In this passage we are made to
understand that everything that was written
concerning Him before He came into the world
'came to pass to show that you can never rely on
this Word and fail.
The Word enthrones:
Jesus rely on the written Word and he was
enthroned in
Matthew 4:1-11. “Then Jesus was led by the
spirit into the desert to be tempted by the
devil. When he had fasted forty days and
forty nights, he was afterwards an
hungered. And when the tempter came to
him, he said, if thou be the son of God,
command that these stones be made bread.
But he answered and said, it is written man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every
Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of
the lord. Then the devil taketh him up into
the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle
of the temple, and saith unto him, if thou be

the son of God cast thyself down: for it is
written, He shall give his angels charge
concerning thee: and in their hands they
shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou
dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said
unto him, i t is written thou shalt not temp
the lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him
up into an exceeding high mountain, and
sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world,
and the glory of them; and saith unto him,
all these things will I give thee, it thou with
fall down and Worship me. Then saith Jesus
unto him, get the thence, satan: for it is
written, thou shall worship the lord thy
God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the
devil leaveth him, and behold, angels came
and ministered unto him.”
It is the understanding of the Word that gives you
authority over the devil, when you tell the devil it is
written, you have taken power from his hand
already. Whatever may be happening around your
life and business, whatever the devil is doing
around you is only reversible by the written Word

and I pray the grace to go for the Word is released
upon you today. Jesus kept on saying it is written
until the devil left him that's the show of absolute
authority in the Word, James 2:19.
Every Scripture In The Bible Was Inspired By
The Holy Spirit:
Isaiah 34:16. “Look in the scroll of the lord
and read: none of these will be missing, not
one will lack her mate. for it is his mouth
that has given the order, and his spirit will
gather them together.”
2Timothy 3:16. “All scripture is God-
breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting and training in
righteousness.”
All scripture is God-breathed and that is the Word is
as alive as God, He is his Word that is why the book
of John chapter one beginning made us to
understand that in the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was

God. The Word works for heaven and earth will pass
away but the Word will stay forever that is why it
takes the spirit of God to understand the Word.
1 Corinthians 2:12-13. “We have not
received the spirit of this world but the spirit
who is from God, that we may understand
what God has freely given us. This is what
we speak, not in Words thought us by
human wisdom but in Words thought by the
spirit, expressing spiritual.”
It is hard to comprehend with human intellect that
is why some people read it without their lives being
transformed, you need the help of the spirit of God
to understand the logos.
The Word is durable and enduring:
Psalm 119:160. “All your Words are true: all
your righteous laws are eternal.”
The Word is durable and has the ability to stand all
things. All you need to do is to carry it in your heart
and speak it to any challenge. The scripture says
this book of the law shall not depart from your

mouth, the bible did not say from your shelve or
from your table or from your hand but from your
mouth and you know it is only the things processed
from the heart that the mouth speak; how can you
use what you don't have?
If the Word is not in you it can't work for you and if it
cannot work for you then it will never work through
you for everyman is product of what is on their
inside.

BENEFITS OF
THE WORD TO
A BELIEVER
L
et us consider some of the benefits of the
Word;
The Word brings Perfection:
2Timothy 3:17. “So that the man of god may
be thoroughly equip for every good work.”
I could still remember when I was not in Christ, my
affection, and love was towards the things of the
world although I was going to church and even in
different kinds of units in the church but reading
the Word or taking time to hear His Word was the
most difficult thing ever for me at that time. What I
enjoy the most then was those circular songs and
during that time I had nothing good to show but
after my encounter with God the things of the
world began to irritate me to a point of shedding
tears seeing people not living life according to the
Word. That is why I believe that even if you are into

all kinds of evil the Word is able to turn you out for
the best, all you have to do is to desire it, crave for it
and as you go through the Word you will see the
glory of God.
Knowing that you are created for His pleasure
draws you closer to his Word．
The Word produces Profits:
Deuteronomy 30:8. “And if thou shalt return
and obey the voice of the lord and do all his
commandment which I command thee this
day. And the lord thy God will make
plenteous in every works of thine hand, in
the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy
cattle, and the fruit of thy land, for good: for
the lord will again rejoice over thee for
good, as he rejoice over thy fathers.”
This place is not promising us but it is a covenant. As
you do this so and so this is what follows it is a law
the Word says return and obey the voice of the lord,
then he say he will make you plenteous in every
works of your hand and as you obey the Word
anywhere men are shouting a casting down yours
will be a song if uplifting because of your obedience

to his Word. There is no short cut to destiny and if
there is any it must be through your obedience to
God's instruction.
The Word opens you up to your inheritance in
Christ:
Acts 20:32. “Now I commend you to God
and to the Word of his grace, which is able to
build you up and give you an inheritance
among all those who are sanctified.”
Apostle Paul understood the profits, blessings and
greatness in the Word that is why he was
committing them to God and his Word. It is His
Word that can give you all you have lost and setting
you high above all things.
If you don't understand the Word how possible
would it be for you to profit by it?
You must remember that we have great inheritance
in Christ and you must wake up to it through the
Word of God.
Some people prefer to use their time discussing
issues that did not concern them than spending it

studying the Word of God. Do you not know that
there is a way that seems right unto a man but the
end leads to death?
The scripture says the Word I speak unto you are
spirit and life. In order Word we live and are
sustained by the Word. My brothers and sisters this
is time to wake up, say no to laziness and begin to
lay hold on eternal life through the written Word.
Our fathers in the faith labored in the Word and we
ride on their winds today but the question is, what
have we gotten from the Word to leave as
inheritance for the generation after us?
The Word produces faith:
Romans 10:17. “So then faith cometh by
hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
Until you are Word addicted you can never have
faith, for faith comes from the Word of God that you
receive into your spirit and he who cometh to God
must believe that he is, so how do you approach
God without faith, and how can faith come without
the Word?

Hebrews 11:6. “......says but without faith it is
impossible to please God: for him who cometh to
God must believe that He is and that He is a
rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
He can only reward you when you seek Him
diligently in faith, no establishment can reward you
like God and any blessing from God will stay
permanent. Upon you reading this book I pray that
the grace to return to God will be made available to
you in order to enjoy His blessings in Jesus name.
The Word makes wise unto Salvation:
2 Timothy 3:15 and that from a child thou
hast known the holy scriptures, which are
able to make thee wise unto salvation
through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
We must understand that is not all wisdom that is of
God but any wisdom from God is able to make us
wise leading to salvation, enjoying heaven on
earth, where nothing shall be impossible to you,
making you to operate from the realm of the divine.
Wisdom is needful in the journey of life, your

spheres of influence is according to your level of
wisdom.
King Solomon full of wisdom and from so many
kingdoms men of influence gather to see and listen
to his wisdom. For you to be built up and
established you need the wisdom of God for by
wisdom is a house built and by understanding it is
established.
The Word brings health to your Body:
Exodus 15:26. “And said, if thou wilt
diligently hearken to the voice of the lord
your God, and wilt do that which is right in
his sight, and will give ears to His
commandment, and keep all his statutes, I
will put none of these diseases upon thee,
which I have brought upon the Egyptians:
for I am the lord that healeth thee.”
Praise the lord; he is the balm in Gilead, he is the
only one that can heal you but he says if only you

can hearken to His Word, to obey and to remain
obedient to the dictates of his commandment then
health and vitality shall be your portion
Psalm 107:20. “He sent his Word, and
healed them, and deliver them from their
destructions.”
The Word carries healing power that heals and
makes whole:
The power of the lord was present to heal because
the Word is encapsulated with power and anytime
the Word goes forth, healing take place. God
Himself is always present to defend His Word at all
time that's why He said heaven and earth will pass
away but His Word must surely remain.

Matt 4:23. “And Jesus went about all

Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and
preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and
healing all manner of sickness and all
manner of disease among the people.”

Luke 5:17. “And it came to pass on a certain

day, as he was teaching, that there were
Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by,
which were come out of every town of
Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the
power of the Lord was present to heal
them.”

THE
WORD
FOUNDATION
I
t is important to understand how to relate
with the Word, knowing how to approach it
and getting yourself established through the
Word.
Word foundation is all about been rooted in the
Word of God, and establishing relevant spiritual
anchor for stability and success in all aspect of life.
You need adequate knowledge of relevant facts to
build your life from the Word. Let us look at some
levels of foundations in the Word;
Interaction
Your Word foundation begins by interacting with
the Word trying to understand some basic truth,
the more you interact with the Word the more faith
is built in you and the more you grow in the lord.
Whatever you give your attention to determines
what comes out of your life for out of the
abundance of what is accumulated in your heart
the body reflects to the world if you stay with the
Word the world will know. Interacting with the

Word of God set you on high above all. This is why
the devil is trying by all means to distract you
making you focus on things that are not relevant to
keep you away from knowing the truth for the bible
says you shall know the truth and the truth that you
know shall set you free, the devil will not allow you
to operate freely he knows that your understanding
of the Word will put him in shame.
2 Corinthians 3:14-18. “But their minds
were blinded: for until this day remaineth
the same veil untaken away in the reading
of the Old Testament; which is done away in
Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses
is read, the veil is upon their heart.
Nevertheless when it shall turn to the lord,
the veil shall be taken away. Now the lord is
the spirit: and where the spirit of the lord is,
there is liberty. But we all with open face
beholding as in a glass the glory of the lord,
are changed into the same image from glory
to glory, even as by the spirit of the LORD.”
The more you interact with the Word, beholding
him as in a glass the more you experience

transformation and any veil covering your spiritual
eye will begin to remove making the Word more
clearer, moving you from realms to realms of
revelation.
Revelation
Revelation is a personal insight for personal action
and it is for our profiting. Revelation comes via
divine connectivity with the divinity, when ever
divinity takes over humanity one begin to interact
with the realm of divine, when you lay down your
life seeking for the Word you begin to see yourself
in the realm of revelation. the more you relate with
the lord the more he reveal to you.
Acknowledgment
This require a deep hearted believe in the revealed
truth. It calls for a no doubt believe having taken it
raw Proverbs 2:20-22 receiving the Word even
though the signs around does not look like what it is
saying for faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen. Because it is the
Word of the lord, you must not see signs before you

believe what God is saying but by the time you
acknowledge that his Word must surely come to
pass then you will be sure of the signs that will bring
about your desired answer.
Romans 10:10-14. “For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, whosoever
believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For
there is no different between the Jew and
Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto
all that call upon him. For whosoever shall
call upon the name of the lord shall be
saved. How then shall they call on him in
whom they have not believed? and how
shall they believe in him of whom they have
not heard? And how shall they hear without
a preacher?.”
If you are ready then the gospel is here and now
accept him lay hold on his promises and let the
entirety of your being believe it then and his
promises and you see yourself radiating in the
glorious light is in the Word.

Confess the Word with boldness.
After accepting the Word with faith the next step is
to confess it boldly, the Word you know can never
work for you without you putting it to work and one
of the ways to put the work to work is by speaking it
to that issue of concern with faith and authority.
Until you practice what you know,
You can never command result.
The more you confess the Word the more result you
command in your area of Endeavour.
Acts4:20 for we cannot help speaking about
what we have seen and heard.
Don't stop speaking the Word, keep saying it even
to the face of that mountain and then you will see
them melting down before you for with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation. You are justify by
what you say, many things will bypass you until you
place a demand on them therefore don't keep your
mouth shut watching your life wasting away, let
that Word proceed and let it create and recreate
thing around you that will make your destiny to be
colorful.

OF THE
WORD

e have two dimensions of the Word
and we shall be discussing them
and there is every possibility that
God has been speaking to you through any of these
dimensions.

Psalm 29:3. “The voice of the LORD is upon

the waters: the God of glory thundereth:
“in the beginning was the The LORD is upon many waters.”
word therefore the
word knows the
beginning of everything” The Word can come through different means and
that makes it important for you to be sensitive in
order to get the message meant for you for the
hour. Let us see the dimension one after the other;

(a) The Written Word (LOGOS)

The written Word of God is the bible which is every

believers Manuel for living, it is God breathed
carrying the same power that God carries as He

cannot be separated from His Word, the Word was
tried seven times and forever it stands sure my
father Bishop David Oyedepo calls it the ancient
book with the current news. From ages to ages the
Word has been but anytime you encounter it is ever
fresh.
Let us look at the full meaning of the Logos of God
from scripture. It is the philosophy of God to be
lived out as a Life source, expressed through
thought and life in the power of the Holy Spirit, this
is the intent. Its emphasis is on acquired knowledge
but we can see in the Old Testament that just having
the written Word was not enough for humanity to
understand the will of God, humanity needed it
demonstrated. We read in John one, 'In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God.' Then in verse
fourteen we find out, 'and the Word became flesh
and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of
grace and truth.’
We find that the Word of God was lived out as a Life
source, expressed through thought and life in the
power of the Holy Spirit in the form of a man called

Jesus. We also find that Jesus understood the Logos
of God and that all He had to do was speak it into
existence.
Another reinforcing truth found in John chapter
one is verse four and five, these verses quantify the
authority and power of the Word of God (the
Logos). John one verses four and five read like this;
'In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5
And the light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness did not comprehend it.’
Let us unpack these verses a little. There are three
Words that stand out for me in these verses; they
are Life, Light and shine. This eternal life He came to
give us is the very nature of God, it is known as the
Zoe' of God or you could say the God kind of life. In
John 1:4 we get a better understanding of what this
life will do for us: “In Him was Life, and the Life was
the Light of men.” One of the meanings of the Word
Light in the dictionary is 'a state of understanding or
awareness' the Greek meaning is to shine and make
manifest. So, we could read verse four like this, 'In
Him was the God kind of Life, and the God kind of
Life was the state of understanding and awareness
for men to shine and make manifest.'

To get revelation from the Word one must;
Rely on the it with faith the Word of the LORD are
sure Words, activate your faith in line with what has
been written in the scripture for as God cannot fail
so is His Word. The psalmist said opens my eyes that
I may behold wondrous things in your law. That
implies that there are deep things in the Word that
can never be revealed until He open your eyes to
see them and when you begin to see your true
image from the mirror of the Word the more
supernatural you become because the more we
behold him through the Word the more
transformed we become. Many books can inform
but only the Word sustain the capacity for
transformation therefore you must not read as you
read novels, take it as instructions for your life, read
it for your life depends on the knowledge you get
from it, pull of those distractions and begin to
meditate on the Word.
Study with a Joyful heart

Isaiah 12:2-3 Behold, God is my salvation; I
will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JE-
HO-VAH is my strength and my song; he also
is become my salvation 3 therefore with joy
you will draw water from the wells of
salvation.”
The Word of the lord is full of the promises of God
and can also be likened to well of salvation and to
draw from that well you must be joyful while
accessing the Word for God does not speak to
people bankrupt of joy. Proverbs said a merry heart
doeth good like medicine but a broken spirit dries
the bone, keep your spirit alive with joy then you
will find access to the treasures of heaven.
Consecration
There is every need for us to work out our salvation
just as the scripture says with fear and trembling,
just as impossible as it is using the wrong key to
open a door so it is when you want to approach God
without first consecrating yourself, holiness is a

ticket every believer need to access God and
holiness is an act and not a confession, an act of
keeping yourself feet for God without spot or
wrinkles. The Word can never profit you until
holiness becomes a lifestyle, in the world of
uncertainty where technology is bringing what we
want and taking what we need we must hold onto
the Word as our anchor if we must not miss our
path in God.
Proverbs 4:20-27. “My son, attend to my
Words; incline thy ear unto my sayings. Let
them not depart from thine eyes; keep them
in the midst of thine heart. For they are life
unto those that finds them, and health to all
their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. Put away
from thee a forward mouth and perverse
lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look
right on, and let thine eyelids look straight
before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and
let all thy ways be established. Turn not to
the right hand nor to the left: remove thy
foot from evil.”

Nothing should make you sleep away from that
path that leads to the cross and the best way is to
guard your heart and making sure you always win
the battle from within.
(b) The Spoken Word (RHEMA)
When an anointed man or even a lay Christian
preaches the good news, he is also preaching not
his own Word but the Word of God. This is the
spoken Word of God. Thus the spoken Word of God
is still accessible to his people today through
prophets, priests and dreams.
The Spoken Word (RHEMA) is a verse or portion of
Scripture that the Holy Spirit brings to our attention
with application to a current situation or need for
direction.
Every Word of God is inspired, and “All scripture is
given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction
in righteousness” (II Timothy 3:16). It is the Holy
Spirit Who illuminates particular Scriptures for
application in a daily walk with the Lord.

The Words of Jesus are significant on this point.
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every
Word [rhema] that proceedeth out of the mouth of
God” (Matthew 4:4). Jesus also stated, “The Words
[rhema] that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and
they are life” (John 6:63). When God gives a rhema
for us to act upon, He often confirms it by a second
rhema, that “in the mouth of two or three
witnesses shall every Word [rhema] be
established” (II Corinthians 13:1).
Biblical Insights Into the Spoken Word
The following passages of Scripture provide insight
into the spoken Word of God:
Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing,
and hearing by the Word of God What”. What you
hear has the capacity to change your feelings or
believe towards anything, if your faith life is dead
then check your Word life.
Ephesians 6:17 “And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of
God”. What you need to fight on the day of battle is

the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but
mighty through God to the pulling down of strong
holds. That battle of your life is not too much for the
Word to handle but you must carry and obey what
the Word is saying.
John 15:7 “If ye abide in me, and my Words
abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it
shall be done unto you.”
Your inability to live by the Word is the reason why
most of your request unto God are not met, you
cannot pray to God in accordance to His Word and
not receive answers for His Word is potent at
anytime, anywhere, any day.
Biblical Examples of the Spoken
Word(Rhemas)

This is an address to God, by way of thanksgiving;
glorifying and praising him, confessing and
acknowledging his wisdom, power, grace, and
goodness, discovered in the things he after
mentions: so far was he from being discouraged
and dejected at the poor success of the Seventy: at
his ill treatment by the Pharisees; and at the
general impenitence and unbelief of the cities,
where he preached and wrought his miracles; that
he is abundantly thankful, and admires the
distinguishing grace of God in the calling of a few in
those places. This address is made to God as a
"Father", as his Father, his own Father; for he was
the only begotten of him, and dearly beloved by

relation he stood in to him, and the freedom he
could use with him: he also addresses him as "the
Lord of heaven and earth"; he being the maker,
upholder, and governor of both, and which he fills
with his presence; the one is his throne, and the

sovereignty of his Father, in the conversion of men;
and that it was not for want of power in him, that
there were no more wrought upon under the
ministry of John, himself, and his disciples. The
things he expresses his thankfulness for,
follow;
“because thou hast hid these things from the wise
and prudent”.
The "things" he means are the doctrines of the
Gospel; such as respect himself, his person, as God,
and the Son of God; his office, as Messiah,
Redeemer, and Savior; and the blessings of grace,
righteousness, and salvation by him. The persons
from whom these things were hid, are "the wise
and prudent"; in things worldly, natural, and civil;
men of great parts and learning, of a large compass
of knowledge, having a considerable share of
sagacity, penetration, and wisdom; or, at least, who
were wise and prudent in their own conceits, as

were the Scribes and Pharisees, and the schools of
Hillell and Shammai, the two famous doctors of
that day: and indeed the people of the Jews in
common were so; who thus applaud themselves at
the eating of the Passover yearly. God may be said
to "hide" these things, when either he does not
afford the outward revelation of the Gospel; or, if
he does, it is given forth in parables, or he does not
give along with it the light of his Spirit and grace,
but leaves men to their own darkness and
blindness; so that they cannot see, perceive, and
understand the beauty, glory, Excellency, and
suitableness of the doctrines of it. Now, when
Christ confesses this, or gives thanks to God for it, it
is a declaration that God has done so, and denotes
his acquiescence in it; and is not properly a
thanksgiving for that; but rather, that forasmuch as
he has thought fit, in his infinite wisdom, to take
such a method, he has been pleased to make a
revelation of these things to others;
“and hast revealed them unto babes”
foolish ones, comparatively speaking, who have
not those natural parts, learning, and knowledge
others have, that wisdom and prudence in worldly
and civil things; and are so in their own account,
and in the esteem of the world; and who are as

babes, helpless, defenseless, and impotent of
themselves, to do or say anything that is spiritually
good, and are sensible of the same: now to such
souls God reveals the covenant of his grace, Christ,
and all the blessings of grace in him, the mysteries
of the Gospel, and the unseen glories of another
world. The veil of darkness and ignorance is
removed from them; spiritual sight is given them;
these things are set before them; they see a glory
and suitableness in them; their desires are raised
after them; their affections are set on them; their
hearts are impressed with them; and they are
helped to view their interest in them. The Jews
themselves have a notion that in the days of the
Messiah, children and babes shall have knowledge
of divine things. Therefore we must come as babes
so that the wisdom can be made known to us.
Study the Word at all time
It's worth our time and energy to read and study
the Bible regularly. Things come up in life that keep
us busy and distracted from the most important
things. Let's look at some of the precious benefits
of dwelling on God's Word. It will help us

understand and remind us why we're studying the
Bible.
Psalm 139:17 says “How precious to me are
your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum
of them!”
What Are the Benefits of studying the Word?
Why read the Bible? Here are reasons to study the
Bible. These benefits are not meant to be
exhaustive. Each one has a scripture basis and a
brief explanation to encourage and motivate you in
your reading and Bible Study.
1. Receiving Direction
Psa. 119:105. “Your Word is a lamp to my
feet and a light to my path.”
It's important to study the Bible because God's
Word guides you in the right direction in life. It
lights the way ahead of you so you can see clearly
which way to go. Through every season of your life,
you can be confident that God is always leading you
through His Word.

2. Answered Prayer
John 15:7. “If you abide in me, and my
Words abide in you, ask whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you.”
Why study the Bible? When God's Words abide in
you, you'll be able to pray according to His will and
have confidence that He hears you (1 John 5:14).
This isn't just wishful thinking. Studying the Bible
gives you God's heart and mind for your life and for
people around you. God delights to answer when
you pray from this place of abiding in Christ and His
Word. You are God's battle axe to pull down satanic
kingdoms and build the image of Christ, sharpen
yourself as an axe by the Word and prayer, for the
anointing will surly come but the ground must be
prepared first for the latter rain. Plan the seed of
the Word into your life and watch the Holy Spirit
coming to you like a rushing wind.
3. Strengthened in Faith
Rom. 10:17. “So faith comes from hearing,
and hearing through the Word of Christ.”

Being exposed to God's Word will spark faith in you.
You'll know what to believe and what to base your
faith on. There will be a deep knowing in your heart
that only God's Word can bring.
4. Nourishment and Maturity
Matt. 4:4. “But he answered, “It is written,
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every Word that comes from the mouth of
God.”
Life is much more than food and pleasures in the
world. The Scriptures become your life-line to a
relationship with God. Just as your body needs food
to survive, God's Word nourishes you so you can
become spiritually mature as you respond to life's
challenges and temptations (1 Pet. 2:2).
5. Built-Up in Resistance to Temptation
Psa. 119:11. “I have stored up your Word in
my heart, that I might not sin against you.”
Studying God's Word strengthens you to say “no” to
lesser things and sin in your life. As more of the
Scriptures are stored up in your heart, you'll be
strengthened in the core of your being, your heart.

6. Instruction
2 Tim. 3:16-17. “All Scripture is breathed out by
God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for
correction, and for training in righteousness,
that the man of God may be complete,
equipped for every good work.”
The purpose of Bible Study is to bring instruction,
conviction, correction, and training in God's ways
so you can be equipped for every good work (2 Tim.
3:16-17). Let's look at each one of these benefits.
You can be instructed with teaching from God for
wisdom, truth, and everything you need for life and
godliness (2 Pet. 1:3). The Bible not only gives you
truths to believe but also instruction for how to live
life. No matter what your background and
experience in life might be, you can receive God's
instructions directly from Him as you study the
Bible.
7. Conviction and Correction
2Timothy 3:16. “All scripture is given by

 inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness.”
Studying the Bible gives you a strong conviction
about what is true and what is God's will for your
life. God's Word will build you up in your faith so
you can stand up against any storms you encounter
in life. God loves you enough to correct you and
discipline you. Correction can be painful at times,
but God does it so that you can walk in His blessing
and not go in a way where you will have to reap the
consequences of your actions.
A great prayer to pray is Psalm 139:23-24.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try
me and know my thoughts! And see if there
be any grievous way in me, and lead me in
the way everlasting!”
8. Training in Righteousness
Another reason to read the Bible is because it trains
you so you can fulfill God's plan for your life (2 Tim.
3:16-17). Regular Bible Study trains you in God's
ways. You can understand God's ways and live out
His will.

9. Equipping for Every Good Work
The Bible will equip you so that you can fulfill every
assignment that God has for you in life, whether it's
family, ministry, or career (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Studying
the Bible will equip you to move in God's wisdom,
love, and power. There will always be needs in the
world around you. God's Word equips you to make
an impact.
10. Clarity of Thoughts and Hidden
Motivations
Hebrews. 4:12. “For the Word of God is
living and active, sharper than any two-
edged sword, piercing to the division of soul
and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and
discerning the thoughts and intentions of
the heart.”
God's Word cuts through the distractions and
cloudiness in your thinking and emotions so you
can know God and understand yourself better.
Sometimes you don't know what's motivating you
in the deepest part of your inner being. The Word of

God isn't just ideas and thoughts in a book. It's God-
breathed (2 Tim. 3:16-17). It's living and active and
will be activated in your life when you study the
Scriptures.
11. Freedom
John 8:31-32. “So Jesus said to the Jews who
had believed him,“If you abide in my Word,
you are truly my disciples, and you will know
the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
The Accuser will come against you with lies and
partial-truths to immobilize you. You might be
tempted to fight or run away. When you abide in
God's Word by reading, studying, and living it out,
you'll be free. You'll receive the truth that liberates
you from the distractions and pull of this world. You
will be free to follow Jesus and live out God's plan
for your life.
12. Wisdom Beyond Your Years
Psa. 119:99. “I have more understanding
than all my teachers, for your testimonies
are my meditation.”

You will receive wisdom from heaven beyond the
limitations of your training and life-experience. In
reading the Bible, you get to think God's thoughts
after Him. You'll receive insight and wisdom to
know God and apply it in the world around you.
13. Revived Soul
Psa. 19:7. “The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord
is sure, making wise the simple.”
Being exposed to God's Word refreshes and revives
your mind, your will, and your emotions. The world
brings seemingly endless pressures with greed,
jealousy, and anger all around. Studying God's
Word brings His wisdom into situations that would
otherwise bring devastation to your soul.
14. Delight
Psa 119:103. “How sweet are your Words to
my taste, sweeter than honey to my
mouth!”
God's Word will bring delight to your heart. The

Bible will become your source of life and joy as you
live in God's design. There's a reality of real delight
and inner joy that cannot be taken away from you.
Through every season of your life, through all the
good and even the trials, you can know the
sweetness of God's Word as you draw near to Him
and experience His goodness.
15. Cleansing
Eph. 5:26. “That he might sanctify her,
having cleansed her by the washing of
water with the Word.“
God uses His Word to detox you from the things
that bring bitterness and hopelessness into your
life. God's Word washes your mind, will, and
emotions so that you can think clearly and love God
with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind.
16. Others Are Impacted by Your Life and
Service
Col. 3:16. “Let the Word of Christ dwell in
you richly, teaching and admonishing one

another in all wisdom, singing psalms and
hy m n s a n d s p i r i t u a l s o n g s , w i t h
thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
When you study the Bible, God's wisdom gets
stored up in your heart and mind. It will infuse your
life with God's truth and encouragement. It will
spill-over into the people around you as you live for
God. The more you get God's Word in you, the more
His love and power will flow through you to people
living in brokenness and pain around you.
17. Blessing and Prosperity
Psa. 1:1-3. “(1) Blessed is the man who
walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor
stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the
seat of scoffers; (2) but his delight is in the
law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates
day and night. (3) He is like a tree planted by
streams of water that yields its fruit in its
season, and its leaf does not wither. In all
that he does, he prospers.
As you think and meditate on God's Word, your
mind will be renewed (Rom. 12:2). When you draw

on God's truth and wisdom for every decision you
need to make and every challenge you face, you'll
see the powerful results of God's blessing in every
season of your life. You'll see fruitfulness in your
labors and experience God's abundance in your life.
18. Courage so You Can Be Successful
Joshua. 1:8-9. “This Book of the Law shall
not depart from your mouth, but you shall
meditate on it day and night, so that you
may be careful to do according to all that is
written in it. For then you will make your
way prosperous, and then you will have
good success. Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and courageous. Do not be
frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the
Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Regular Bible Study will strengthen you and give
you courage. You'll grow in confidence of God's
truth. You'll feel more of His emotions towards you
as you understand all that God has done for you
through Jesus Christ. God's Word also sets you free
from fears and inhibitions so you can be successful
in His assignments for you in life. No matter what is

holding you back, you can move forward with
confidence as you follow God's Word.
19. Equipped to Stand in the Face of Spiritual
Warfare
Eph. 6:17. “And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the
Word of God.”
The Word of God becomes your weapon as you
stand in the face of life's challenges and struggles.
God has provided everything you need for your life
as you pursue Him. As you stay connected to Him
through His Word, you'll be able to stand and
persevere until the day that you stand before Him.
All Scripture becomes available to you to overcome
any discouragement, doubts, and fear that might
come against you. God has made you more than a
conqueror (Rom. 8:31-39)
20. Endurance and Encouragement
Rom. 15:4. “For whatever was written in
former days was written for our instruction,
that through endurance and through the

 encouragement of the Scriptures we might
have hope.”
The Bible is God, the Creator's, instruction book for
your life. The Bible records examples of how God
works in the lives of people throughout history.
Through both the positive and negative ways that
people responded, you can learn valuable lessons.
You'll see how God brings redemption to people
who experience brokenness. The Word is
completely all that is needed for victorious living as
nothing can be taken from it or added to it, the
Word is a sure Word.
LEVELS OF THE WORD OF GOD
Christianity is a journey, and in the same vain, the
Word of God is in levels and the more you know the
Word the more you still want to know, the bible says
the secret things belongs to God but the things he
revealed to us are for us and our children's children.
The deeper you go the more of His secret you
discover and that makes our quest for the Word
endless. Quickly let us check the levels of the Word
biblically
1. Water Level

John 4:14. “whosoever drinketh of the
water that I shall give him shall never thirst,
but the water that I shall give him shall be in
him a well of water springing up into
everlasting life.”
The Word is likened to a fountain of water keeping
you refreshed, you no longer live like a tree planted
by the rivers of water but you become the very
source of life bringing you into everlasting life.
Water will refresh, purge and make clean therefore
your encounter with the Word brings into the
stream of living water.
Ephesians 5:26. “That he might sanctify
and cleans it with the washing of water by
the Word.”
No matter how filthy your life is the Word is more
than enough to clean you by the water of the Word,
when you allow the Word to rain on you that dead
or dying part of you can be revived, sanctification
brings glorification and the rain of the Word also
brings sanctification. As the Word go into you it
rebrand you and that dim star in you begins to shine
brighter again. YOU SHALL SHINE IN JESUS NAME.

2. The milk Level
1Peter 2:2. “As a new born babes, desire the
sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow
thereby.”
Naturally every new born baby is sustained by milk
to grow so every born again child of God must live
by the Word of God to survive and grow to maturity.
Being born again is never the end of the journey but
the beginning and the only thing that can help you
not to starve to death in that journey is that Word,
the moment you are in Christ the only weapon you
need to fight the battle of the mind is the Word (the
sword of the spirit), it becomes a weapon and the
same time your guide.
3. The Meat Level
At this level you don't need to be pampered
anymore as some principles are already a part of
you

them that are of full age even those who by

this particular portion of the scripture is making us
to understand that at this level of your knowledge
of the Word you can discern both good and evil so
nothing takes you by surprise, at this level you've
gone past that infant running from prayer house to
prayer house looking for solutions, you can now tell
when you hear the Word of God and that of the
devil and to know which direction to take per time;
as the scripture says “you shall hear a still small
voice behind you saying this is the way to go”,
confusion will be far from you because the Word
had taken root deep into you. and you can now
divide the Word of truth.
4 The Honey Level
Proverbs 24:13-14. “Eat honey my son, for it is
good; honey from the comb is sweet to your taste.
Know also that wisdom is sweet to your soul; if you
find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope
will not be cut off.”

is referring to a glorious future if you find it. You
need strength for exploit in life and ministry? then
you must go for the honey of the Word, remember
it is difficult to get honey from the comb but when
you get it is so fresh and taste very good and very
important to your health. The honey level of the
Word is where you gain access to the realm of the
supernatural where men rule and reign without
struggle for by the wisdom of God you operate.
5 The Wine Level.
In this level you are intoxicated by the Word and
you do as occasion serves you, I refer to this level as
level of strong faith declaring things in line with the
Word and seeing them manifesting, you begin to
act like God just like when apostle Paul was beaten
by a dangerous snake and the people waited for
him to die but they were disappointed, and after a
while they marveled and said the god has come
down to them in the likeness of men. At this level
the Word dwells in you richly that you become the
carrier of signs and wonder.

FAITH IS A FIGHT
2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I
have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

aith is a fight that every believer must
fight. You are created into battle and
the battle will not end even after we
are out of this earth but only those that are
recorded as winners in heaven are given the crown
of glory that is why Apostle Paul said we should
labor to enter into that rest. There is a rest YES but
for only those that kept the faith to the end. Allot of
battles economically, socially, financially and
otherwise, even in the body of Christ the devil is
fighting by all means to pull men away from the
path of God.
In this end time that we have cultism, sexual
immoral acts, killing, ritual killers all over the places
is the time to wake up we want to know who is on

the LORD's side that will join the end time army to
fight this good fight of faith, to take this battle to the
gates of our enemies, to rescue the souls that has
been taken captives by the enemy. The question is
WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE. Oh that the church
will rise from their sleep and know that it a warfare
and not a fun fair .Our fathers of faith did it we also
can do it see

The patriarch of old fought for the course of the
kingdom, they lay down all in order to secure the

on God for unless a corn of wheat dies it abideth
alone. The glory of a Christian is in his death to self
just as a seed after death germinate and grow to be
a great tree so our glorification is in our death to
self, allowing the spirit to come up in our lives
brooding over our soul until we are turned to be like
God.
Your ability to lay down is what determines the
strength of your faith
Again the example of Abraham the man of faith
The dramatic story of God testing Abraham's faith is
full of lessons we can apply to our lives. When Isaac
was a young teenager, God told Abraham to offer
him as a sacrifice. It must have seemed an
astounding command - to take your promised son
on whom the promises of God depended and
sacrifice him upon an altar.
"By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered
Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the
promises was about to sacrifice his one and only

Isaac shall your promised offspring come'"
When they came to the mountain, Abraham was
obedient to God. Just as he took the knife to take
the life of his own son, God stayed Abraham's hand,
and told him to offer instead a ram caught in a

It is what you believe that works for you. As
powerful as the word of God, if it is not mixed with
faith it will produce nothing.
in the book of Matthew 8:8-10 8:8 The centurion
answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou
shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word
only, and my servant shall be healed For I am a man
under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say
to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another,
Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this,
and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled,
and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto
you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
The centurion man understood the power in the
word and believed in the wonders that will happen
at the instant of the declaration of the words from
Christ, and in verse 8:13 And Jesus said unto the
centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed,
so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed
in the selfsame hour.

The word of God is always on time, quick and
powerful in any life that has faith. It is our level of
faith that determines the level of God's
manifestation in our lives.
The subject of faith cannot be over emphasized
whenever we talk about the word of God, the bible
says that our father Abraham in obedience to the
word of God moved out of his father's house to a
land unknown to him but because of his faith in
God he obeyed immediately.
Genesis 12:1-712:1
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get
thee out of thy country, and from thy
kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a
land that I will shew thee.
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I
will bless thee, and make thy name great;
and thou shalt be a blessing. And I will bless
them that bless thee, and curse him that
curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of
the earth be blessed. So Abram departed, as
the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot

The proof that you believe the word of the LORD is
in your actions, Faith never knows where it is being
led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading.
Abram departed as the LORD had spoken the word
works wonders if faith in the word is unshakable.

Wondering what the Bible says about faith?
Meditate on these faith scriptures and let them
change your perspective. Remind yourself that
your faith is in God, our Heavenly Father who will
never leave us or forsake us. Remember that we
have been restored into relationship with God by
faith and not by works.
Matthew 17:20. Truly I tell you, if you have
faith as small as a mustard seed, you can
say to this mountain, 'Move from here to
there, and it will move. Nothing will be
impossible for you.
If you have faith, you can say and you will see what
you desire just as God saw darkness in His creation
and he declared the appearance of light and light
came to be. You as a child of God and a believer can
do the same because faith brings you from the
realms of men to the realm of God where all things

People fail primarily from the heart before the
failure manifest on the outside. When doubt sets in
then a believer is about to fail.

John 7:38 Whoever believes in me, as

flow from within them.

Your level of faith determines your level of victory
you enjoy. You want to win and consistently win
then you must not stagger at the word of God the
bible says Abraham staggered not at the promises
of God; he was strong in faith giving glory to God.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you

with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so
that you may overflow with hope by the
power of the Holy Spirit.

When your hope is high joy unspeakable and peace

that is beyond human understanding becomes
your portion. Faith is the substance of things hoped
for. Anything substance is something you can lay “YOU WANT TO SEE GOOD
hold on, something you can see, that is something THEN STOP SPEAKING EVIL
beyond imagination. For instance in the book of BECAUSE GOOD HAS NO PLACE
John 6:35 Jesus says “I am the bread of life. IN THE MIDST OF EVIL”

Faith works by love for you cannot love God without

having faith in him and you cannot have faith in him
and not love him

Ephesians 5:1 Be ye therefore followers of

God, as dear children; And walk in love, as

himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to
God for a sweet smelling savour. But
“THERE IS NO INSTRUCTION fornication, and all uncleanness, or
FROM HIM THAT IS TOO covetousness, let it not be once named
HARD IF YOUR LOVE FOR

You cannot say you love God and not follow His
word faithfully. The more you follow his
instructions the more your faith grows and the
more your love for him grows. Faith without work is
dead also faith without love is dead because love
also is an action word as faith, no matter how lovely
you claim to be without actions to proof then that
love is fake. Jesus asks Peter and said do you love
me? Peter replied and said you know I love you, and
they continued the question and answer session
and after that session Jesus said to him feed my
sheep. Your love must show in your obedience of
faith to God's instruction. There is no instruction
from him that is too hard if you love him.
Ephesians 3:16-17 “I pray that out of his
glorious riches he may strengthen you with
power through his Spirit in your inner being,
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts
through faith. And I pray that you, being

not consumed one of another. This I say
then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil
the lust of the flesh.”
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with
Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in
me. The life I now live in the body, I live by
faith in the Son of God, who loved me and
gave himself for me.”

The Walls of Jericho
When Joshua arrived at Jericho, he found himself
facing a city which, from a human perspective,
seemed impossible to defeat. The walls of Jericho
were built on a vast sloping embankment. At the
base of this embankment was a wall 12-15 feet
high. 46 feet above, at the top of the embankment
was another wall 26 feet high and six feet thick.
When access to Jericho seemed inconceivable, God
gave Joshua a plan. But it was a plan that required
Joshua to have great faith. God told Joshua and his
army to march around the city of Jericho for seven
days, and then on the seventh day to blow their
trumpets.
“When the trumpets sounded, the army
shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet,
when the men gave a loud shout, the wall
collapsed; so everyone charged straight in,
and they took the city. 21 They devoted the
city to the Lord …” Joshua 6:20-21

Despite the ridicule of others, Joshua put his trust in
God and followed what seemed bizarre
instructions. On the seventh day of marching, the
men blew their trumpets and let out a cry. In a
mighty display of God's faithfulness, the walls of
Jericho fell to the ground.
David and Goliath
David was sent by his dad Jesse to visit the front
lines of battle and bring back news from his
brothers. When he heard Goliath mocking Israel
and His God, this young boy took an extraordinary
step of faith and volunteered to fight him.
He persuaded King Saul to let him fight and instead
of the King's armor, David carried his sling and five
stones. In the face of Goliath's mockery, David
trusted God.
“You come against me with sword and
spear and javelin, but I come against you in

 the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of
the armies of Israel, whom you have defied
... All those gathered here will know that it is
not by sword or spear that the Lord saves;
for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give
all of you into our hands.”
1 Samuel 17:45-47
David put a rock in his sling and aimed at Goliath's
head. It was a direct hit and the giant fell to the
ground. David then picked up Goliath's sword and
cut off his head.
With your faith intact your enemies shall go down
before you.
Rejoice for your victory is here, the more effective
your praise life the more effective your weapons of
war.

THE FORCE OF PRAISE
When the word of God is settled in you and faith is
produced, praise from you unto to God becomes a
weapon in the camp of your enemies. Praise turns a
weakling into a giant in the realm of the spirit for
the scripture says in Jeremiah 30:19 that out of
them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of
them that make merry: and i will multiply them,
and they shall not be few; and i will glorify them,
and they shall not be small.
Giving God praise is one of the secret you need in
order to gain mastery in the journey of life. When
ever God wants to bless a man he gives that man his
presence and most times his presence is trapped
through our praise and thanksgiving for the
psalmist says God inhabit the praises of his people.
Praise is a great statement in God's presence, so
may people are in need from God but do not care to
know what God needs. When you check the book of
Psalm 92:1-2 and10-15
You will see the benefits of praising God. The bible
says;

Lord, And To Sing Praises Unto Thy Name, O Most
High”. To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the
morning, and thy faithfulness every night, then
something happened in verse ten to twelve and
the bible says;
But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an
unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Mine eye
also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine
ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up
against me. The righteous shall flourish like the
palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
What helps you to put your enemies to a flight
without a fight is your praise and Thanksgiving..
2 Chronicles 20:17-24
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set
yourselves, stand ye still, and see the
salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and
Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to
morrow go out against them: for the LORD
will be with you. And Jehoshaphat bowed
his head with his face to the ground: and all

before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.
And the Levites, of the children of the
Kohathites, and of the children of the
Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of

went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said,
Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of
Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so
shall ye be established; believe his prophets,
so shall ye prosper. And when he had
consulted with the people, he appointed
singers unto the LORD, and that should
praise the beauty of holiness, as they went
out before the army, and to say, Praise the
LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. And
when they began to sing and to praise, the
LORD set ambushments against the children
of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which
were come against Judah; and they were
smitten. For the children of Ammon and

mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them:
and when they had made an end of the
inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to
destroy another. And when Judah came

earth, and none escaped.
There are battles that are beyond you, but our God
is a mighty man in battle and engaging him through
the mystery of praise bring his hand down to settle
your issue. No wonder the bible says the weapons
of our warfare are not carnal but are mighty
through God to the pulling down of strong holds, so
we win through God, we stand out through God
and we stand triumphant consistently through
God. Praise is that weapon that pull down our
adversary before us. When you engage in praise,
the lord turn your captivity and you begin enjoy
peace all round. It shall indeed be your season of
Joy.

In conclusion;

herefore we must rest on the word for
the word cannot fail, it is the most
potent weapon of war in the spirit and
even in the physical. the ancient word is ever true
as the book of EPHESIANS says the word of God is
the sword of the spirit you can win any battle with
it, in your work place, your education, even in that
family, for life is a warfare, and the weapon of our
warfare are not carnal but the sword of the spirit
which is made mighty through God to the pulling
down of strong holds. Now is not the time to run to
those that cannot even help themselves, the
strength of any believer is determined by their dept
in the word ....in one of my revelational encounters
with God's servant Bishop David Oyedepo he
stretched forth his hand towards me and gave me
the bible and he said "this is what made me who i
am" and from that day my attitude towards the
scripture changed and i began to walk in the realm
of wonders. We must remember that the bible is
the bread of life meant for daily use and not cake for
occasions, it is our value for the word that

oppositions is what makes the word potent so use
the word on those challenges because they make
us realize that the word truly works.
