List Poem

Directions for teaching students how to write list poems: Tell students to write a vertical list of items or
events about you, something, someone else, or the curriculum subject matter. I can rhyme but it doesn’t
have to. It should be at least one line and can be any length after that first line.

Animals are nouns

I see animals outside everyday

Outside, I see

A squirrel

A bunny

A deer

A groundhog

A racoon

A dog
