Integration: Have students follow along as you read the Nativity Story book to the class. Play the
familiar song “Silent Night” and give students access to printed out lyrics and the link to the song.
Then sing the song with the students. Then have students pair up in groups of 2-3 and put their own
lyrics to the “Silent Night” melody based on their own interests or the Nativity book we read. Have
students read or sing their finished remake of the song to the class and videotape them. At last,
display students finished lyrics on the wall for the whole class to see, read, and recall.
