Book Title: After the Rain
Author: Deborah Raney

This book is about the story of Natalie Camfield's journey from rebellious teen to
godly woman working with her father Nathaniel, in Timone. The novel is about her
redemption and how she finds forgiveness, both from others and from herself. It's a
reminder that no matter how great a sinner we are, God's forgiveness for our sins was
gained at the cross of Jesus. Long Ago, Natalie’s mother faced an agonizing choice
between the two people she loved most, and the difficult resolution to her predicament
affects Natalie throughout her young life–fueling a season of teenage rebellion that
results in the death of her best friend. As a young woman, Natalie attempts to put her
troubles behind her, ultimately finding solace in the arms of a man with close ties to
the tragedy. Yet neither time nor love can liberate her from the past. Determined to
confront her terrible guilt, Natalie embarks on a journey that will take her thousands
of miles from home and straight into the life and heart of a man unlike any she has
ever known. Confronted with a decision that echoes the one her mother faced so many
years before, Natalie finds herself drawn to two men–each of whom holds a claim to
her heart. But the sins of her past must be confronted, and an escape from her guilt
found, before her heart will be free to find its home.

The Setting of this book are San Jose’ Del Guaviare The place where they get their
email from others, Rio Guaviare was dark brown, like milky coffee and many places

than two and a half years, And Timone Colombia, South America where her mother
and father work. It has a chapel, a Café Timone, A bird still sang in a discordant
chorus, and gauze of mosquito net that swayed above her with every movement.

The main Character in this book is Natalie Camfield, who was a small child in the
previous installment, is now a discontented teen haunted by the heartbreaking choice

as a whole their still a happy ending because finally she forgive herself to the tragic
that happen to her best friend and she’s getting married to the man who’s god
intended for her.

I thought this book is Hard and boring to read because its first part is usually happen
at so many books that I read and it has so many chapters, but as I continued reading
Deborah Raney get my interest to read her novel. Her Story was wonderful, I didn’t
expect that it’s about girl who made some bad choices and lived with guilt. I love the
way Deborah Raney handling Natalie situation there until she learned her lesson, and
she finally felt the fullness of God's forgiveness. I just didn’t like some unfamiliar
words that she use in some part of the story that either dictionary cannot define its
meaning. Over the entire novel were great and all readers will learn a very important
lesson and that was “God can forgive the gravest of sins”
