As growth continues in Africa, animals are
coming into contact with humans more
often. The wildlifes survival depends on
the relationship with people.
◊ Human-wildlife conflict increases because
without suffiecient natural habitats,
animals come into contact with humans
and are usually captured or killed.
◊ If there is no change, the population of
these animals will continue to drastically
decline until they no longer exist.
Solutions
The African Wildlife Foundation
has come up with these solutions.
◊ Equipping wildlife rangers
◊ Training law enforcement officers
◊ Deploying sniffer dogs
◊ Building conservation
partnerships
◊ Working with communities to
protect the lands and wildlife
around them
