CRITERION® 65 is a high alumina, low moisture castable with superior properties compared to
conventional castables of similar alumina contents. It has very good abrasion resistance, extra high
strength at operating temperatures, high volume stability, and extremely low creep deformation. It is
recommended for use in continuous casting tundishes and in the upper sidewalls and roof of aluminum
melting, holding, and refining furnaces.
