Below are details of current charges as applicable for subject items: * Mooring Requirements & Standby Tug Charges: The following mooring requirements apply to all visiting tankers carrying flammable hydrocarbons (applicable at on-shore terminals only). a. LPG & LNG vessels of all sizes and other tankers of 75,000 SDWT and above are required to have at least 8 wire ropes made fast ashore at each end. b. All tankers other than LPG & LNG below 75,000 SDWT must have 8 ropes made fast ashore at each end. However, a minimum of 6 moorings shall be wire ropes at each end forward and aft. ¢, High Modulus Synthetic Ropes are acceptable as alternate to steel wires. Below are the only common trade names (in line with the OCIMF guide) which are acceptable: i. Aramid, Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), Aptech, Dyneema, Haracron, Kevlar, Spectra, Technora, Twaron, UHMWPE & Vectran. ji, No other brand / commercial names are acceptable unless the rope certificate clearly shows the basic rope material to be one of the above. 4. Even combination of wires and High Modulus rope is acceptable, provided that these are not mixed in the same set of moorings. e. Standby Tug: In case of non-complying vessels, a mandatory standby tug will be provided on ship's account at a fixed charge of US$6000 (Six thousand) per visit. Thus for: i, Vessels visiting two ports during one trip, the charges will apply twice. ii, Vessels visiting two terminals in the same port will be charged once only. « Tailing Tug Charges (applicable at SBM Terminals on! It ls mandatory for all vessels berthing at the SBMs to have a tailing tug fast for | the entire duration of stay at the SBM.
