Shopping at Mall vs Traditional Market

Shopping is an activity that we perform almost every day since it allows us to
meet our daily necessities (kebutuhan). In the past, housewives or housekeepers would
frequently go shopping. Nowadays, there are no longer any gender disparities
(perbedaan) in the way that children, teenagers, or adults engage in shopping activities. As
a result, it is no longer unusual to observe men buying things.
Shopping centers have expanded (berkembang) so rapidly (pesat) that they now
go by a variety of titles, including modern marketplaces and shopping malls. The advent
(keberadaan) of contemporary markets appears to displace conventional markets. More
people purchase in modern markets due of the advertising-supported promotions. The
modern market also offers convenience (kemudahan) features for transactions, as well as
many services like a pleasant and tidy area, air conditioning, helpful and attractive waiters,
intriguing (menarik) product arrangements, extended (diperpanjang) opening hours,
discounted rates, and numerous other features. The modern market is preferred by the trend
of today's society, despite the fact that this involves more money, dressing up, and donning
(mengenakan) clean clothes first.
We are familiar with traditional markets, which only exist at specific times.
Examples include Monday markets, night markets, and so forth. The traditional market is
currently open every day, but for a little period of time, particularly from dawn to nightfall
or until almost midnight. The hallmark (ciri khas) of traditional markets is haggling over
(tawar-menawar) the price of the goods being sold and everything costs cheaper. In
contrast to modern markets, the arrangement (penataan) of the goods is less appealing
(kurang menarik), the seller only accept cash payment, and the security is not guaranteed.
With today's advancements, it has a significant impact on how people do business,
but with the option of shopping at malls or traditional markets, anyone can shop regardless
(tanpa memandang) of gender or age. All of this comes back to the buyer, who is now
more at ease when buying whether at a mall or a traditional market. If we look at the
benefits and drawbacks of purchasing at both locations, shopping in a mall is more
convenient and spotless (bersih), the cost of goods is higher but their quality is assured.
The cost of goods in a traditional market is low and negotiable but you should be patient
with the congested (padat) atmosphere.
