St Mary s University College/Twickenham BA Hons Drama and Theatre Arts - Graduated in July 2011 with 2:1 and 1 st in Dissertation. My chosen topic for my Dissertation was The Thatcher Years.

I have just completed my 3 years at St Mary s University College. In May I took part in a Showcase at the Soho Theatre in London, as well as performing in several other productions throughout my study years. Prior to University I also attended the Royal Lyceum Youth Theatre in Edinburgh for 2 years. Working with the Prince s Trust has motivated and inspired me to help fellow peers who are less fortunate than others. Fundraising has been a huge commitment which has required good organisational and communication skills. My drama course has given me confidence and ability to adapt with challengeable situations and environments.

Employment History: During my secondary school years I was employed as a waitress in 2 local Hotels/Restaurants. From September 2007 and during holidays as a student I have been employed as a waitress at Stobo Castle Heath Spa working in the dining room and coffee shop.

Communication Skills I am a polite hard-working individual who has the experience of working under pressure and dealing with customer s demands and complaints. I am confident and able to liaise and communicate comfortably and effectively at all levels. I have managed the training of new staff during my employment with Stobo Castle Heath Spa, Peebles, Scotland. I am extremely committed and work efficiently as a team member and individually.

Interpersonal Skills During my gap year I applied to join a Contiki tour travelling to 4 cities in the USA. I visited Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York. I loved San Francisco and New York and found the trip really interesting, establishing a wide network of friends/contacts. This trip introduced me to a level of responsibility and independence prior to my move to London and University life. It also led me to apply in second year of University to spend my first term overseas, at the University of San Francisco where I studied Performance, Asian culture and European History classes.

Interests During my time at University I played Lacrosse for the West London team which I enjoyed immensely. The team organises an annual mid-season tour and I was given the task of taking

ownership of the January 2011 tour to Liverpool. This included organising accommodation, travel, entertainment and networking other Northern teams in order to arrange games throughout the weekend. I coped with this demanding challenge admirably using interpers onal and organisational skills which resulted in the tour being a roaring success. I enjoy hill walking and currently in training to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2011 in aid of the Prince s Trust. As mentioned previously the fundraising has been an enormous challenge i.e. 2430 plus entrance fees, vaccinations and kit expenses amounting to 2040. I am really looking forward to my trip but under no illusion it will be very hard work. I am also interested in theatre/reading/history/different cultures and fashion.
