Tradition of Father’s Day

For the English homework I chose the Nordic countries

and Netherlands to describe the Father’s Day tradition.

Nordic countries
In the Nordic countries, people celebrate the Father’s
days in the second Sunday of November.
Father day’s traditions in these countries are a little bit
different, they play hide and seek instead of giving gifts.
This is a interesting idea and a good way to help the
children’s to appreciate the time in family.

Netherlands

In Netherlands the father´s day is celebrated in the third

Sunday of June.On that day, the parents are treated like
a kind of kings because the children take breakfast to
their bed and then go to their grandparents' house. In
their grandparents' house they are very pampered and
treated with great affection.
