1.

Discuss briefly the theories of Constructivism, integrative learning, and

multiple intelligences.

 Constructivism is a theory that states that rather than passively taking in

information, learners construct knowledge. People build their own representations
and incorporate new information into their preexisting knowledge as they
experience the world and reflect on it.
 Integrative learning is a method of learning in which the learner combines prior
knowledge and experiences with new information and experiences. Learners are
able to draw on their skills and apply them to new experiences on a more
complex level as a result of this. Integrative learning is based on the idea that
students take charge of their own education and develop into critical inquirers
capable of making meaningful connections between disciplines and applying
critical thinking to real-world problems.
 The theory of multiple intelligences states that everyone possesses all eight
intelligences to varying degrees of proficiency, and that a person's learning style
is unrelated to their areas of greatest intelligence. One of the most remarkable
aspects of the theory of multiple intelligences is how it provides eight different
potential learning pathways. If a teacher is having trouble reaching a student
using traditional linguistic or logical methods of instruction, the theory of
multiple Intelligences suggests a variety of other ways to present the material to
aid effective learning.

2. Explain a learning strategy that will foster social Constructivism in a multigrade

classroom. Make sure to mention the lesson, grade levels, and levels of intelligence of
students.

In a social constructivist educational setting, the learner is responsible for their own
learning, while the teacher serves as a facilitator, guiding direction and encouraging
new ways of thinking. For example, students in Grade 3 are primarily expected to,

Be actively engaged in discussion and active exploration of the topic of interest with
his peers and teacher.

To create new knowledge, be exploratory and creative in self-directed research and

development of new theories through innovative analysis, conceptualizations, and
synthesis of prior experience.

Even in the absence of full or complete information, to seek meaning and try to find
regularity and order in the world's events In addition, the learner is seen as bearing
responsibility for his or her own learning.

The goal of any social constructivist teaching exercise is to develop skills in heuristic
problem solving, meta cognitive knowledge, creativity, and originality as a by-
product of increasing the level of understanding in knowledge on the topic of interest
3. How can you refrain from failing to cater to students with varying intelligences?
Explain in not more than 5 sentences.

By applying the theory of multiple intelligences in the classroom, educators

take into consideration the different types of learners they might have in their class,
reinforce all types of intelligences in every student, and allow for an individual
learning process that will ultimately enable each learner to utilize his or her specific
abilities and demonstrate learning.Presenting topics using the theory of  multiple
intelligences, that is using different pathways and tools to study information, can have
a very positive effect on our students’ learning experience.

Incorporating for example, role play, collaborative work, picture puzzles or

field trips allows for a learning experience that will not only allow different types of
learners to learn but will enrich every individual’s understanding of the topic.
