My thoughts about African Literature

There’s a lot to say about African Literature. Africa is a beautiful and unique continent
filled with amazing and mesmerising nations. Yet despite being a beautiful and amazing
continent, African people face a lot of challenges by just their appearance. Africans
experience discrimination every single day, not only in their own country but also in
different parts of the world. For example, a black man was not allowed to board a train in
Ukraine just because he is Black. Even when a war is commencing some people still have
time to discriminate against a person based on how they look.

I look up to most Africans because as someone who spent a good amount of time in Africa,
I can say that most people there are hard working and passionate. Although most of the
time they only work to be able to buy food and pay bills, I look up to their hard work and
passion. Most Africans are uneducated because of the lack of proper government and funds
in their country they are unable to build schools for the children and for adults who never
got the chance to learn. That is also one of the reasons why I look up to Africans, For even
when they did not get a chance to study they are still making sure to work hard for their
future.

I hope everyone comes to appreciate African Culture and Literature as I do, Because I do
think that everyone can fully help the world and environment we live in by coming together
and accepting everyone whether they are different from what they believe in. Because I
believe in the saying “If one does not hurt you by being different, then I don’t see a reason
for you to invalidate them”. That is why I believe that everyone should accept a person by
who they are, not on how they look.
