THEORY :
Superposition Principle

The superposition principle states that;

The current through or voltage across a ressituve branch in a multisource circuit is the the algebraic

PROCEDURE:

First we connect the three resistors (r1=1k r2=4.7k and r3= 1.8k ) in a fashion in which they have one
common point.

A voltage source of 20v is place on left whereas a voltage source of 10v (upside down ) is place on the
right of the circuit as shown in the figure .

then a voltmeter in parallel and an ammter in series s connected to every resistor to measure voltage
across and current through each resistor respectively as shown in figure.

Now the previous circuit is re drawn with the removal of the 10 voltage source and the same method is
adopted for the measurement of voltages across and the current through each resistor as shown in
Circuit diagram 2. The reading obtained are due to the presence of 20 v source (e1)

The above step is repeated but now with the removal of 20v source and the same method is adopted for
the measurement of voltages across and the current through each resistor as shown in Circuit diagram
3. The reading obtained are due to the presence of 10 v source (e2)
