With grateful heart I would like to remember the person who helped me during the course
of my internship program. I would like to thank coordinators and other faculty in amity
university who gave such a wonderful chance to step on my first psychological work
experience.

The internship opportunity I had with socially souled was a great chance for learning and
professional development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky individual as I
was provided with an opportunity to be a part of it. I am also grateful for having a chance
to meet so many wonderful people and professionals who led me though this internship
period.

Bearing in mind previous I am using this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and
special thanks to Ms. Padmaja Sarangi (RCI registered psychologist) who in spite of
being extraordinarily busy with her duties, took time out to hear, guide and keep me on
the correct path and allowing me to carry out my project at their esteemed organization
and extending during the training.

I perceive this opportunity as big milestone in my career development. I will strive to use
gained skills and knowledge in the best possible way and I will continue to work on their
improvement, in order to attain desired career objectives.

PREFACE

This document contains the internship period I had from 11th july to 11th august 2022 at
socially souled as an intern. The objective of this internship program was to represent the
knowledge and experience acquired during the internship Program.
The work over here was to handle the clients and to note down their case history. Even
we got opportunities of presenting the topics given by them.  During our research we
were required to conduct research, consult with clients, learn from seniors and find
solutions for different issues. We learnt about different types of disorders and their
treatment, conduction of test under supervision of a psychologist was also a task given to
us. Including this many fun activities was done to broaden our perspective in the field of
psychology.
There we got some case history of patients to analyses case1 was of a 32 years old female
was facing depressive disorder symptoms was from 2 years and was diagnosed with
depressive disorder the treatment given to her was Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Another case 2 was of a 25 years old male who was unemployed where he was getting a
perception that his family is conspiring against him and wants to kill him. He was
diagnosed with schizophrenia with delusional disorder without hallucinatory disorder and
treatment given to was antipsychotic drugs with CBT as therapy.
Case 3 was of 17 years old female facing depressive episode from 1 year and was
diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder current manic without psychotic and was
treated with some antidepression pills and therapies was allotted for her.
