Opening supplications.

.‫ اوالبا ارِد‬، ‫ اوالثَّ ْل ِج‬، ‫ي َِبْل ام ِاء‬‫ الل ُه َّم ا ْغس ْ ا ا ا‬، ‫س‬
‫اَي‬ ‫ا‬‫ط‬‫خ‬ ‫ل‬ َّ ِ ‫الدنا‬ َّ ‫ض ِم ان‬
ُ ‫ب األابْيا‬ ُ ‫الث َّْو‬

Allaahumma baa’id baynee wa bayna khataayaaya kamaa baa’adta baynal-mashriqi walmaghribi,

Allaahumma naqqinee min khataayaaya kamaa yunaqqath-thawbul-‘abyadhu minad-danasi,
Allaahum-maghsilnee min khataayaaya, bith-thalji walmaa’i walbarad

O Allah , separate me from my sins as You have separated the East from the West. O Allah,
cleanse me of my transgressions as the white garment is cleansed of stains O Allah , wash away
.my sins with ice and water and frost

‫ اواَل إِلاها اغْي اراك‬، ‫ُّك‬

‫اَل اجد ا‬
‫ك اوتا اع ا‬ ْ ‫ اوتابا ااراك‬، ‫ك اللَّ ُه َّم اوِِبا ْم ِد اك‬
‫اْسُ ا‬ ‫ ُسْب احانا ا‬
Glory is to You O Allah, and praise. Blessed is Your Name and Exalted is Your Majesty. There
.is none worthy of worship but You

Subhaanaka Allaahumma wa bihamdika, wa tabaarakasmuka, wa ta’aalaa jadduka, wa laa ‘ilaaha

.ghayruka

ِ ‫ وسبحا ان هللاِ بكْرةً وأ‬، ‫ّلِل اكثِريا‬

‫اص ًيل‬ ِ ِ ْ ‫ و‬، ‫ هللا أا ْكب ر اكبِريا‬
‫ُ ا ا‬ ‫اْلا ْم ُد َّ ً ا ُ ْ ا‬ ‫ُ اُ ً ا‬
Allaahu Akbar kabeera walhamdulillaahi katheera wa subhanallaahi bukratan wa aswiila.

Allaah is the Greatest, very great. Praise be to Allaah, again and again. Glorified is Allaah
morning and evening.

One of the Companions commenced with this, to which the Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa
sallam) said:” Wonderful for it (the supplication) is that the doors of the heavens were opened
for it”
 ‫اْلا ْم ُد َِّّلِلِ َحاْ ًدا اكثِ ًريا طايِبًا ُمبا اارًكا فِ ِيه‬
ْ 

Alhamdulillah Hamdan katheeran twayyiban mubaarakan fiih.

Praise be to Allaah, many, pure, blessed praises.

Another man commenced with this, to which he (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: ”I saw
twelve angels competing as to which of them would take it up"

‫ اللَّ ُه َّم ا ْغ ِف ْر ِِل‬: ‫ول‬

ُ ‫ اويا ُق‬، ‫ اويا ْستا ْغ ِف ُر اع ْشًرا‬، ‫ اويُ اهلِ ُل اع ْشًرا‬، ‫ اويُ اسبِ ُح اع ْشًرا‬، ‫ اواَْي ام ُد اع ْشًرا‬، ‫ يُ اكِّبُ اع ْشًرا‬
"‫ اللهم إِن أعوذ بك من الضيق يوم اْلساب‬، ‫ او ْارُزقِِْن او اعافِِِن‬، ‫او ْاه ِدِِن‬

He would say takbeer (Allahu Akbar), tahmeed (Alhamdulillah), tasbeeh (Subhaanallah),

tahleel (Laa ilaaha illallah) and istighfaar (Astagfirullah) ten times each, and then say,
"Allaahummag firlii wahdiii warzuqnii wa aafinii " O Allaah! forgive me and guide me
and give me sustenance and [overlook my sins] Ten times, and then say: "Allahumma innii
auuzu bika minad dwiiki yawmal hisaab" O Allaah! I seek refuge with You from the
distress of the Day of Account. Ten times.

‫ت‬ ‫ اعاِلا الْغاْي ِ ا ا‬، ‫ض‬
‫ أانْ ا‬، ‫َّه اادة‬ ْ ‫الس ام ااو ا‬ ‫ فا ا‬، ‫يل‬‫ اوإ ْساراف ا‬، ‫يل‬
‫ اومي اكائ ا‬، ‫يل‬‫ب اجْب ارائ ا‬ ‫ُ ا‬

ْ ‫ف ف ِيه ِم ان‬ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ‫اَْت ُكم ب‬
‫َّك تا ْهدي ام ْن‬‫ إِن ا‬، ‫ك‬
‫اْلا ِق ِبِِ ْذن ا‬ ْ ‫ ْاهدِِن ل اما‬، ‫ ف ايما اكانُوا فيه َياْتال ُفو ان‬، ‫ْي عبااد اك‬
‫اختُل ا‬ ‫ُ اْ ا‬
ِ ٍ ِ
. ) ‫تا اشاءُ إِ اَل صاراط ُم ْستاقي ٍم‬

Allahumma Rabba Jibraaeel wa Mikaaeel wa Israafeel, Faatwiras samaawaati wal Ard, Aalimal
Gaibi wash shahaada, Anta tahkumu baina ibaadika fiimaa kaanuu fiihi yakhtalifuun. Ihdinii
limakh tulifa fiihi minal haqq bi iznika, innaka tahdii man tashaa'u ilaa siraatim mustaqeem"
 O Allaah, Lord of Jibraa'eel, Meekaa'eel and Israafeel, Creator of the heavens and the earth,
Knower of all that is hidden and open! It is You that will judge between Your slaves in those
matters about which they used to differ. Guide me by Your Grace to the Truth concerning that
about which they differed, for indeed You guide whomsoever You wish to a path that is
straight.

Then he says afterwards:

‫أعوذ َبهلل من الشيطان الرجيم من مهزه ونفخه ونفثه‬
Auuzu billaahi minash shaitaanir rajeem, min hamzihi wa nafkhihi wa nafthihi.

I seek refuge with Allaah from the Evil One, the Rejected, from his madness, his arrogance,
and his poetry.

Or ….
.‫أعوذ َبهلل السميع العليم من الشيطان الرجيم من مهزه ونفخه ونفثه‬
Auuzu billaahis samee'il aleem minash shaitaanir rajeem, min hamzihi wa nafkhihi wa nafthihi.

I seek refuge with Allaah, the all-Hearing, the all-Knowing from the Evil One, the Rejected,
from his madness, his arrogance, and his poetry.

Then he says afterwards:

‫بسم هللا الرَحن الرحيم‬
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.
 but not loudly

Supplications in Ruku (Bowing).

‫ سبحان ريب العظيم – ثلث مرات‬
Subhaana Rabbiyal azweem (three times).
How Perfect is my Lord, the Supreme!
 ‫ ثلث مرات‬- ‫ سبحان ريب العظيم وِبمده‬
Subhaana rabbiyal azweem wa bi hamdihi (three times)
How Perfect is my Lord, the Supreme, and Praised be He.

‫سبوح قدوس رب امللئكة والروح‬ 

Subbuuhun Qudduus Rabbil malaaikati war ruuhu.
Perfect, Blessed, Lord of the Angels and the Spirit.

‫ سبحانك اللهم وِبمدك اللهم اغفرِل‬

Subhaaakal Lahumma wa bi hamdika, Allahumag firlii.
How Perfect You are O Allaah, and Praises are for You. O Allaah, forgive me.

Supplication in sujuud (prostration)

‫ سبحان ريب األعلى – ثلث مرات‬
Subhaana Rabbiyal a'alaa (three times).
How Perfect is my Lord, the most high!
‫ ثلث مرات‬- ‫ سبحان ريب األعلى وِبمده‬
Subhaana rabbiyal a'alaa wa bi hamdihi (three times)
How Perfect is my Lord, the most high, and Praised be He.

‫سبوح قدوس رب امللئكة والروح‬ 

Subbuuhun Qudduus Rabbil malaaikati war ruuhu.
Perfect, Blessed, Lord of the Angels and the Spirit.

‫ وِبمدك اللهم اغفرِل‬- ‫ سبحانك اللهم – ربنا‬

Subhaaakal Lahumma –Rbbana- wa bi hamdika, Allahumag firlii.
How Perfect You are O Allaah,-Our Lord- and Praises are for You. O Allaah, forgive
me.

.‫ اللهم اغفرِل ذنيب كله دقه وجله أوله وآخره علنيته وسره‬
 Allahummag firlii zanbii kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, awwalahu wa aakhirahu, alaaniyatahu
wa sirrahu.

O Allaah! Forgive me all my sins: the minor and the major, the first and the last, the open
and the hidden.

Supplication between the two sajdas (prostration)

‫ رب اغفرِل رب اغفرِل‬
Rabbig firlii, Rabbig firlii
O my Lord! Forgive me, O my Lord, forgive me.

‫رب اغفرِل وارَحِن واجّبِن وارفعِن واهدِن وعافِن وارزقِن‬ 

Rabbig firlii war hamnii wajburnii war fa'nii wah dinii wa aafinii war zuqnii.
O Allaah! (in one version: O my Lord!) Forgive me; have mercy on me; [strengthen
me;] [raise my rank;] guide me; [pardon me;] sustain me.

Tashahhud
‫التحيات هلل والصلوات والطيبات السلم عليك أيها النيب ورَحة هللا وبركاته السلم علينا وعلى عباد هللا‬
.‫الصاْلْي أشهد أن َل إله إَل هللا وأن حممدا عبده ورسوله‬

Attahiyaatu lillaahi was swalawaatu wat twayyibaatu assalaamu alaika ayyuhan nabiyy wa
rahmatullahi a barakaatu assalaamu alainaa wa alaa ibaadillaahis saaliheena wa ash hadu
an laa ilaaha illallah wa asha hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuuluhu.
