MOTION TO RESET HEARING

Respondent, through counsel, most respectfully states that:

1. On 19 May 2022, he received an order from this Honorable Office setting

the hearing on 2 June 2022 at 2:00 p.m. However, on even date, the
Honorable Court issued an order setting the arraignment of the
respondent also on 2 June 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Attached is a copy of the
said order and marked as ANNEX “1”.

2. Thus, in deference to the order of the Honorable Court, respondent is

constrained to move to reset the hearing scheduled on 2 June 2022 to a
later date, preferably on 3 June 2022.

3. This motion is filed in good faith without any intention to delay the
proceedings of this case;

PRAYER

WHEREFORE, based on the foregoing and in the interest of substantial

justice, respondent, respectfully prays that the hearing on 2 June 2022 be
reset and moved to 3 June 2022.

The Respondent likewise prays for other reliefs just and equitable under
the premises.
