It is illegal for the Church to participate in any political activities.

No, It's because the Church's mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ,
not to elect politicians. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is
neutral in matters of party politics. This applies in all of the many nations in
which it is established.
What type of images or qualities of the Church are most attractive to you as a follower of Christ today?
Why would you say so?

We go to church on Sundays, sometimes Wednesdays and often even in between.Going to church is a

routine, even a ritual at times.Being the church is so much more.I saw that firsthand this weekend
as:volunteers from different “churches” and even different denominations worked together as one body
– THE body.believers united in purpose and passion and an outpouring of love for the broken among
us.God moved among his people.Y’all, it was beautiful.Even in the brokenness, there was beauty. Even
in the hurting, there was hope.As the body worked together, each part was strengthened.I couldn’t help
thinking, “THIS is what church is really about!”The book of Acts tells us so. Its words paint a picture of a
living, breathing body…not a building. Acts tells us how the believers behaved, what they did from day
to day. It teaches us that the church is not a place for people to come; the church is the people of God
in any place.
