PRIMARY HEALTH CARE(PHC)

Since every individual is unique, we need to take care of them differently.

Primary health care is all about a doctor feeling like a family member and take care of a
patient from head to toe with all background information.

Taking care so in future you don’t face any issues regarding health by analysing past data is
done in primary care.

Different caring stages:

1. Primary care – monthly or yearly check up for healthy living, new symptoms are found
like cough, cold etc.
2. Secondary care – when primary care doctor suggests other specialist for particular
problem.
3. Tertiary care – when we need to be hospitalized and high level of care.
4. Quaternary care – when very unusual symptoms found and require very high care then in
Tertiary care.

Use of primary health care:

6. Pregnancy Counselling.
Note: There are different roles for different problems.
Primary health care information system – collects, analyse, report about primary health
care.

Expectations and Availability:

1) Model to be trained using different diseases data. User should input data based on
columns required and model should predict which disease he has or would face in future.
2) Available data is all about available and required PHC centers in different states.

EARLY DETECTION OF DISEASE

Screening is testing healthy individuals to identify those before any symptoms appear.

Includes:
1. Cancer

Techniques:
1. Recombination DNA technology
2. Polymerase Chain Reaction PCR
3. Enzyme Linked Immuno-Sorbent Assay ELISA
Note: For every disease there are different techniques to study in depth. Generally, we go
for above to say if any disease is present or not.
For different disease different data sets are available.
Heart:
The dataset available are of structured data.
