SNOW WHITE STORY MAP

SETTING

The story takes place in the woods where the seven dwarfs little cottage is. The Queen’s Castle is
mentioned. And finally, the marriage takes place in the prince’s castle.

CHARTERS

Snow White:

She is a beautiful young princess whose mother died long ago and is now under the authority of the new
Queen.

The Seven Dwarfs:

They are hard-working little men who have mercy and feel compassion for Snow White and let her live
with them.

The Queen:

An evil and arrogant person who loves only herself and who thinks that appearance is the most
important thing in the world.

Hunter:

At first, the Queen’s faithful subject, but when he had to carry out her order and kill Snow White, he
showed that there was something good in him.

Prince:

A handsome young man who, passing through the woods, came across dwarves guarding Snow White,
whom they thought was dead.

PLOT

Snow White is an old fairy tale about a beautiful princess threatened by her selfish stepmother, the
Queen who every day would stand in front of her mirror and ask, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the
fairest of us all?”. Everything went right until Snow White grew up into a lovely girl and the mirror gave a
new reply “Oh Queen, Snow White is the fairest of all!”. With rage the Queen sent for a huntsman to kill
Snow White in the forest. But he could not kill the charming princess so he let her go. Lost and
frightened, she took refuge with seven dwarfs in their forest home. Not knowing that the huntsman had
disobeyed her, the Queen asked her mirror once again who the fairest was. That was how she found out
that Snow White was still alive. After several attempts to kill her stepdaughter, she tried with a poisoned
apple which put Snow White into an everlasting sleep. So the little men made a glass coffin and laid
Snow White’s body tenderly in it until a handsome prince awakened her with Love’s first kiss. Finally,
Snow White’s wish came true and she married her Prince Charming and they were happy ever after.

STORY EVENT
Snow White’s step mother commanded hunt-man to bring Snow white to the forest and killed her.

Hunt-man killed deer instead and brought the heart to the Evil queen

Snow White’s step mother found that snow white still alive

Snow White’s step mother planned to snow white again with ribbon, but she still not death.

The Evil mother tried to kill snow white another time with poison comb, but she still not death.

The Evil mother had new plans, she put the poison in the apple and give it to snow white then snow
white died.

The seven dwarfs tried many times to save snow white , but they couldn’t save her. So they decided to
put snow dead body in the glass coffin and brought her to the top of mountain.

RESOLUTION

The dwarfs return to find Snow White “dead”. They do not want to bury her under ground so they
create a glass coffin with gold trim and have her rest in the forest with the woodland creatures looking
over her. A year later the Prince learns of Snow Whites coffin and goes to visit her
