Observation:

Ever since we gain curiosity and understanding, waste management is already there. Bins
for segregation of waste can be seen everywhere and it is solidified by RA 9003 or also
known as, the Ecological Waste Management act which provides necessary policies,
institutional mechanism to mandate Local Government Units (LGUs) to achieve at least 25%
waste reduction by establishing solid waste management plans on the year 2000. But as the
years go by, it seems that waste management is not fully utilized and not fully monitored
which still results to different variants of pollution.

Determining the Problems:

This proposal aims to increase the percentage of effectiveness regarding proper waste
management. Which also includes formulating and suggesting a solution that will guarantee
the effectiveness of waste management. To give such solutions and results and to make the
solution more reliable, the researchers sought to provide solutions to these problems

1.) The lack of direct observation and ability to act regarding waste management and
proper sanctions and consequences for committing such violations.

2.) The lack of funds to provide materials and technologies not just trash bins to
properly segregate waste and manage them properly.

3.) Gaining the attention of the citizens in the country (Philippines) regarding waste
management and what consequences of our countrymen may suffer if we do not act
properly and immediately.

Hypothesis:

- Burning hazardous waste material at high temperature that also burns the
contaminants to the use of incineration will lead to a better and effective waste
management.

- The government plays a vital role such as the successfulness of the result depends on
them and their cooperation.

- People will gain more interest and will start to cooperate and engage more by seeing
the result of incineration process regarding waste management and the benefits
they might receive
